Clinique Super City Block Oil-Free Daily Face Protector Broad Spectrum SPF 40

This is actually a sample I got from attending the Clinique Beach Party (actually my bf's goodie bag lol). I've heard numerous positive comments on Clinique sunblocks so I was glad I could try it for myself.

It's in a cute tiny bottle which I adore since it's so small I can put it into my bag. Better than samples in sachets!

Product says : High-level daily sunscreen in a sheer, weightless formula. Protects against sun and environmental damage with broad-spectrum UVA/UVB sun block and antioxidants. For all skins, even the most sensitive. Wear alone or as an invisible makeup primer.

When I squeezed it out, it felt like a creamy mousse form. It is skin coloured so I guess this minimizes the chance of giving you a white cast lol

It does however, efficiently brighten up my complexion and somehow even my skin tone a little. There is a 'no fragrance smell' but I don't mind since it fades after application.

It goes on smoothly and comfortably on my skin. Easy to spread but you gotta be quick cos it dries fast into a smooth, non-sticky and non-greasy finish. No white sheen or shine. Felt like nothing went on my skin at all!

Ingredients :

Size : 7 ml (mini size)
Made in Belgium

My conclusion : Would be great for people with oily skin. Although probably not a problem on dry skin, it doesn't provide moisturizing effects. A pretty decent sunblock.

** I did not purchase this product. However, this has not affected my thoughts on the product in any way.

  1. Oooh, nice! I got a full-sized tube but I thought it was like regular cream. Now that I know it's tinted, I think I might have to open it and use d, haha. Thanks for sharing the great review! ^^
