Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Milk

After trying out the lotion, I purchased the moisturizing milk as well which acts as a moisturizer.

I like the simple white design although I can't read any of the Japanese words. The bottle is quite sturdy and I probably wouldn't mind bringing this if I travel.

Product says :
Moisturizes deeply, offering nourishing hydration and skin-smoothing conditioners.
Infuses your skin with moisture and leaves it with a natural healthy looking glow.
Skin becomes smoother, softer and richly hydrated.
Skin pH balanced. Low irritation.
Free of fragrances, mineral oil, alcohol & colorant.

The nozzle is good. The milk never spills out (didn't have a problem with the lotion either). I just tilt it and it drips out slowly. However, because it's tacky, it tends to pull strands of the milk when I open the cover which is why there's some underneath.

It's milky white and isn't very watery. I use one drop of this for my face, spreading it between my palms before patting it on.

It definitely helped my flaky skin (I actually bought this during an 'emergency moment' where my skin was flaking like mad on the morning I was to be a makeup model for Nicole). Compared to the cream, it's lighter and makes my face less oily.

Before, my skin was very dehydrated & oily. After using Hada Labo, my skin is not so dehydrated anymore so I'm very certain it helped change my skin. However, when I was about halfway though the bottle, I began to feel that it wasn't doing enough for the inner layers of my skin. It just seemed to hydrate the top layers only. Perhaps my skin had gotten used to it? o_O

Update : After a break, I'm back to using it again and it feels just as good as when I just started

The MUA for Seventeen mag  shoot actually mixed this with foundation to apply on me as my skin was so terribly dry. I have tried this myself and it does help with foundation application.

  1. Hmm... I always thought Hada Labo products were made in Japan...
Heard that it's a pretty good moisturizing product, as some of my friends are using it.

  2. Nope.. Ours are made in China except for the red retinol range. I think SG Hada Labo is from Japan though.. They said it's from a different manufacturer.

  4. I'm starting to use it again cos I need to finish my bottle. Never regretted buying it =) I think with Hada Labo products, I need to give them a break before reusing again.
