Natio Skin Firming Serum

Was browsing at Sasa looking for a new serum. All the serums that the SA was recommending was above RM 150 for 30 ml, which I feel is kinda expensive. Especially when I don't even know if it works!

Then I saw this Natio Skin Firming Serum! RM 50 only for 50ml. It says..

Hydrating serum infused with botanical extracts and natural treatment oils for a more youthful looking appearance. Visibly helps soften fine lines. Gently firms and lifts the skin. Suitable for all skin types. Perfect under make-up.

Natio products are natural and plant-based.

Ingredients : Water (Aqua), Glycerin, Hydrolysed Soy Protein, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Polyacrylamide, C13-14 Isoparaffin, Laureth-7, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Butylparaben, Propylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Fagus Sylvatica Extract, Vaccinium Myrtillus (Bilberry) Extract, Saccharum Officinarum (Sugar Cane) Extract, Acer Saccharinum (Maple Sugar) Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Xanthan Gum, Pelargonium Graveolens (Rose Geranium) Oil, Lavandula Augustifolia (Lavender) Extract, Styrax Benzoin (Benzion Tincture) Gum, Tetrasodium EDTA.

Comes with a dropper but it doesn't reach all the way to the bottom. Thankfully, the product is liquid enough to be poured out.

Despite it's milky appearance, it feels slippery and watery. It takes some time to absorb so I have to massage it for a good minute or two. As for the scent, it smells just like the other Natio products - a very earthy smell.

I didn't quite like the texture which took so long to absorb (it would just slide around). However, for RM 1/ml, the price is pretty affordable. If you're looking for a basic and cheap serum, you can give this a shot but I wouldn't put high hopes on the anti-ageing claims.

Soya King - My Fav Tau Fu Fa

I stay in SS2, where there is this famous tau fu fa truck near the pasar. I tried it several times but seriously.. It's not nice. Why is it famous? I don't know =_="

Then I stumbled upon this other tau fu fa truck in Seapark, in front of Hong Leong Bank. It will have the name 'Soya King' on it.

Each box of tau fu fa is RM 1.70 but he also sells soya milk. You can choose between normal syrup or brown sugar.

Every spoonful is silky smooth goodness x_X I wouldn't say it has a very strong bean taste but I love how smooth it is.

I went to tapau one day and noticed the guy rushing off to somewhere so I asked him if he's closing so early (it was only 2pm) then he told me that he shifts to Uptown until at night. Mana tau I ended up giving that tau fu fa to a friend and we so happened to have dinner at Uptown so I went ahead to buy another one to settle my cravings. He was like.. "Wah! You love tau fu fa so much ah?!" =x

You can find the truck at

  • Seapark in front of Hong Leong Bank (opposite Giant, near Grandpa bak kut teh) in the day time
  • Uptown from evening until night on the same row as Village Park nasi lemak

New Pink Charles & Keith

I've had my eyes on Charles & Keith ever since le Bf told me he saw his friend carrying a nice one. Besides, my RM 30 bag from AliceWonders which had served me a good 7 months was hole-y.

Then on Valentine's he surprised me with this. Yay! But I didn't buy him anything #badGF

#bimbo pink bag & wallet set xD Love the striking colour!

Wallet was about RM 100+

Numerous card slots (although a bit tight for my liking) with a zipped compartment in the middle. I did not have trouble closing it even after putting coins in.

It also comes with this mini pouch which slots in at the back but I have not found a use for it.. =/

Fingerprint magnet!

Bag was RM 270 and is available in 2 other colours - white and cream (I think).

It's not very big but I love the design which separates my stuff. I can fit in my camera as well although it can be snug.

Love the strap because of it's belt-like look. The clip is also easy to use and fingernail-friendly.

3 ways to use this bag : sling, handbag or rich taitai

Can't love it more @_@ It's my everyday bag now.

I got this at Sunway Pyramid and the pink is already sold out so if you want it, try other outlets. I spotted a pretty nice mint bag as well!

Maybelline Lip Polish in POP6

Got my paws on Maybelline's latest Lip Polish! This deceiving lil thing looks like a lipstick but is actually a lip gloss!

I'm not sure what you call the shape of this applicator but it's a sort of heart shape. Easy to apply with and doesn't accidentally deposit large blobs of colour somewhere.

A single layer of POP6 produces a sweet pink colour with minimal gloss, which was surprising considering how the tube looks.

The second layer will transform it into a darker strawberry red that's glossy. If you look closely, the formula contains tiny shimmers. The red is very wearable and is not too overpowering. After it has faded or if you blot it off, a pinkish hue remains.

2 looks in one product - Sweet & Sexy. Which do you prefer?

The Maybelline Lip Polish retails for RM 32.90 and there are 10 shades available. I like that it's not sticky like other glosses so it's really comfortable. Also doesn't dry out my lips.

Clio Waterproof Pen Liner (Kill Brown)

After my brown K-Palette eyeliners continued to fail me again and again, I decided to switch brands. I bought this liner at Sasa for RM 55.90 after remembering numerous good comments about this brand.

I was surprised to see a felt tip! It's similar to the Cyber Colors one except this is thinner and softer. However, still pretty rough and hard to maneuver, causing wobbly wines. You see, a soft brush tip can bend and accommodate shaky hands. They leave a smooth curve while harder tips drag your skin and provide a more precise application (which is not good if your hands are not steady). Also, felt tips tend to become fluffy like how marker pens become. Balls of fluff start detaching themselves from the tip, carrying ink with them and leaving unintended lines. I've used this for about 2 weeks now and I've already removed 2 fluffs.

I had high hopes for this, especially after spotting this on the packaging-

Formulated in Japan
Made in Korea

Hello? This is NOT waterproof nor smudge proof!! One light rub and the colour is all gone. Good news is that you won't need makeup remover =_=" Just..

DON'T Rub eyes
DON'T Get wet
DON'T Run under the rain
DON'T Cry

Despite my years of eyeliner application, I found it hard to get a good wing with this liner. Most of the time, the shape just goes wonkers!

Paired with light pink eyeshadow from NYX and silver eyeliner from Solone. Contact lenses are from MagicColour.

Pink eye makeup to matchy matchy with my pink cheongsam lolol

Overall, I only like the colour of the eyeliner. Not many brands have brown liquid eyeliner. Due to its non-waterproof properties, I will not be repurchasing this. Definitely. By the end of the day, part of my eyeliner disappears, which is really disappointing. Boo!

However, they do have some unique colours for their pencil liners, which you might wanna check out at Sasa.

Free Online Shop with Shopify

A very long time ago, I had a blogshop to sell clothes. It was the in thing back then la. Everyone was doing blogshops but the business slowly died down as everyone was getting stocks from the same place and it got boring. Then people moved to Facebook shops instead but honestly, it just looks really unprofessional and there's always that..

"PM me for price"
"got stock?"
"what size?"
"who banked in RM 55 into my account??"

SO ANNOYING!

If you take your shop seriously, I suggest you to setup a proper one. It will make your life so much easier.

Shopify
offers the service to help you start your online store

Free Trial
There is a 14-day free trial so anyone can try it out for 2 weeks without having to commit any form of payment.

Customized Layout
One of the most important points is HOW your shop looks. Here at Shopify, you can fully customize it with various options but I was lazy so I just chose a free theme from the Theme Store =x

Easy Product Management
To add products, you just need to fill in the details like name, description, code, labels etc. but they have extra options to define stock quantity, have different colour options, customize URLs, schedule publish dates or even add to collections.

Spring/Summer 2014 Collection

Doesn't that sound nice? xD

This is how it should look like.

Discount Codes
You can also make various discount codes. I love how there are so many options to control the discount. I've previously used another platform similar to Shopify and it only had 2 options. - Discount or Free Shipping.

Mobile & SEO Friendly
Not bad la.. Took an hour to sign up, setup store and understand the concept. This layout is for a computer but if you open it on a mobile or tablet, it will adjust itself to fit because Shopify has mobile responsive themes. If you noticed, my layout also directs to my Facebook page, Twitter & Instagram. Shopify is designed in a way to be SEO friendly to direct more traffic to your store as well.

More Payment Methods
I think one of the best parts is that the payment transaction can be automated so there will be less disputes and scams. Shopify has also integrated with iPay88 in Malaysia that allows credit cards and bank transfer to be done. Once they've paid, the system will update the status automatically. Just sit back and relax. Shopify will be everything you need to sell online.

Shopping Cart
Then of course, there's the cart, which Facebook pages and blogshops do not have. With a shopping cart, it is more organized and customers can buy items together instead of commenting on individual photos. However, if you would really like to keep your Facebook store, then no worries. Shopify can also be integrated with your Facebook store to allow people who are browsing through your Facebook page to be directed to your Shopify store to add products and make payment. Simply install this free app ‘The Facebook Store’ https://apps.shopify.com/facebook-store and you will then be able to enjoy the best of Facebook and Shopify!

24/7 Support Team
If you encounter any problems with your e-store, don't worry as their international support team is available 24/7!

Find out more at

Now.. How would you like to join the 80,000 successful stores on Shopify? I'm giving away a 3-month FREE trial to sell anything you want. Anything!

To join, all your have to do is comment below & answer these two questions:
  • Why do you want to set up an online store?

  • What do you plan to sell?

Why Samsung & Not Brand XXX??

I constantly hear this argument on my social media platforms. Whenever someone asks the very sensitive question of..

"Which phone should I get?"

A: Why buy X? Y is so much better.

B: Y is for spoilt brats. Go get X!

C: You still arguing over that? Obviously Z is better.

Honestly, technologies evolve and brands learn from each other in order to improve and make better phones. My first true smartphone was a Samsung and I've just stuck to the brand ever since. My first one was a Galaxy S2 and I've watched S3, S4, Note 2 and the rest join the family.

Now I'm with my Note 3 and I love it! What's even better is that Samsung loves me too! Yes.. Finally my brand loyalty has paid off.

The Samsung Galaxy Life application was created specially for Galaxy users to enhance their lives and to reward them for being a Samsung user. It's the first of its kind.

Woah so much stuff, thanks ah! The app has all these amazing offers (shopping, beauty, etc), interviews with big shots, recommendations to great apps and more.

All in ONE app

Don't have to carry around a whole stack of loyalty cards until your wallet cannot close anymore.

Browsed a bit and jeng jeng jeng jeng! I spotted Escape Room!

Grabbed 5 of my buddies and dragged them to go play with me xD Only 4 of us had to pay while the other 2 entered for free.

The process was really simple. Just walk into the outlet, open the app to show them and with one press of the 'Redeem' button, you are done.

Thanks Samsung Galaxy Life for allowing me and my friends to experience a funny + crazy moment together. Can't wait to see what else you have to offer!

You can Download the Samsung Galaxy Life app HERE.

Will we finally be on this board???

Each room is actually made up of 2 or more rooms. Look for clues and HOW to arrange the clues in order to open the chest (mine were number/letter combinations). Inside the chest could be another clue or you'll get a key to proceed to the next room. There are many types of combination locks, I saw a safe (yes, like in movies), lasers that trigger the alarm and some rooms use magnets and objects to unlock the door. Keep your eyes open and try all possibilities except climbing up the ventilation thingy on the ceiling cos apparently someone tried that LOL! If you're stuck, you are allowed 2 hints btw..

This time we played The Mysterious Room which is honestly quite challenging mentally.

However, I think Prison Break was quite fun! Laughed so badly at all our silly moments. Escape Room is great for team building as well. Once you're done playing at one outlet, you can proceed to another outlet cos they all have different sets of rooms! Games are affordable with Samsung Galaxy Life offer.

Check out http://www.escaperoom.com.my/ for more info and also to book your rooms.
