NEW Rico Rinaldi x Starbucks Collection

Starbucks is celebrating Merdeka with its FIRST collaboration with a Malaysian designer! These exclusive merchandise were created with Rico Rinaldi, an award-winning fashion designer (check out his pretty designs at @thericorinaldi)!

The 6 new tumblers and mugs will be available at Starbucks nationwide from 31st August onwards to celebrate our country's National Day.

• Rico Rinaldi + Starbucks® Double Walled Mug RM150 (12 fl oz) – A ceramic mug with painted ceramic lid and gold detailing on the rim
• Rico Rinaldi + Starbucks® Thermos Tumbler RM168 (20 fl oz) – Thermos stainless steel tumbler with spill proof lid

What are the 3 designs?

The merchandise draws inspiration from three endangered animals representing the elements of nature – Forest, Sea and Air in the form of a Harimau (Tiger), a Penyu (Turtle) and a Kenyalang (Hornbill). Bold colours that are reminiscent of Malaysia’s heritage, flag and the diverse flora and fauna help round out the designs.

Personally I really like like kenyalang one because of the vibrant colour but the harimau design is equally as beautiful.

Also finally tried these new Starbucks fruity Frappuccinos - Apricot & Peach, and Ruby Red Grape. While I usually drink coffee at Starbucks, these were refreshing especially when the weather is so hot right now!
