English High Tea at Teaffani Patisserie

This isn't Breakfast at Tiffany's but it's High Tea at Teaffani. Thanks to Rachael of Teaffani & Tammy of The Butterfly Project for the invite. (check out that pretty chandelier!) FYI, Teaffani offers catering services as well and they've worked with some big names! This is their first time venturing out into physical stores.

Teaffani is situated in a cosy lil place on the 3rd floor (Parkamaya) of Fahrenheit88. The whole place uses a theme of English teatime and garden. Love the garden chairs and wooden tables! The environment is great for a more 'atas' yum cha session. Plus it looks like a good place to take pichas! I noticed lots of pretty looking clothes nearby so maybe can sit down for some tea after shopping.

Scones and tiramisu are their signature.

Bread not for eating ya haha

Teapots, cups and even artwork for sale.

We were there to have a taste of their English High Tea Set! Available any time of the day at RM 49.90 for 2 pax.

High tea is not complete without tea. Surprisingly, I had like 4 cups of this =x Time flies when you're having so much fun chatting over tea with your pals.

*drumroll* Here it is! There is a combination of sweet and savoury food.

Sweet pink macarons (also available in other colours lah) - crispy on the outside with a chewy sweet center. I finally had my first taste of a macaron!

'Pizza tart' - Tastes kinda like a pizza with ham, cheese and tomato. Except it's in a tart.

Chocolate brownie topped with silver dragee - lovely combination of soft brownie with crunchy nuts. The chocolate taste is mild enough so you don't feel sick after a few bites and it isn't dry.

Scones with a choice of strawberry jam or butter. The scones are actually home made! Although a bit dry for my taste, it's nothing some jam can't fix.

Actually liked the tuna and egg sandwiches! Thick fresh slices of cucumber and tomato sandwiched between fluffy bread. They're pretty generous with the amount of tuna too. The egg wasn't ruined with too much pepper or salt as I could still taste the fragrant yolk.

Orange Caramel Pudding topped with strawberry. One spoonful and the fruity flavour gushes through your taste buds. The sour strawberry complimented the sweet pudding well.

Tiramisu was the best! Soft but dense fluffy layers all melting together in your mouth. Just delicious. It was neither too sweet nor sickening. I understand why Rachael recommended this now.

Look at that cute lil carrot! Obviously, this is carrot cake topped with cream cheese and sweet coconut shavings. I did find this slightly sweet but that's where the tea comes in!

Pretending I'm in England, on a soft grassland, having tea with the Queen.

Thanks to Lullabelle for the goodies too!

Lullabelle has tonnes of really pretty soaps for sale!

Tammy & Rachael.

The theme of the day was British school girl/Gossip Girl xD It was initially white then NEON but I was like neon?!?! How am I even going to match that =/

The 'teachers' haha!

One with Rachael - she's pretty, no?

Group shot from Tammy!

Not only were we pampered with food and tea, we each brought home a box of treats as well! Chopped almonds coated in really really tasty chocolate. Yum!
