[Beauty] Abeau Eternal Youth Skincare Range Review

Got a chance to review these Abeau skincare from Korea *gasp!* Loving the pink and rose gold bottles which are looking amazing in my beauty corner. It's simple, clean and expensive looking. Makes me happy every morning just looking at them.
I was lucky enough to receive the entire range worth RM788. Thank you! So far I'm kinda loving every part of it, down to the CC Cream.

The main function of the Eternal Youth line is to whiten and hydrate skin with anti-wrinkle effects
Does not contain
Mineral Oils | Talc | Parabens | Triethanolamine

The range contains really awesome ingredients such as bamboo extract, red ginseng extract, and swiftlet nest extract.

Abeau Eternal Youth Foaming Cleanser

Helps to remove dead skin cells and dust; contains 10 botanical extract complex to cultivate skin that is elastic and hydrated. It's quite thick and you won't need too much.
This cleanser lathers up into a luxuriously thick foam that is a joy to wash your face with. It's dense enough to feel like soft cushions on your face. My face never feels dry or tight after each wash.

Abeau Eternal Youth Balancing Toner

After washing your face, it's essential to feed your skin with sufficient moisture, starting from toner.
The thing that caught my eye was the pump! I've never seen a pump like that. It's so cute and works perfectly. Each pump is well controlled and gives enough product for my face.
You can apply this with a cotton pad but most days I'm just like ehhh I'll just use my hands because let's be real here.. Hands are so much faster and you get to pat it in! But if you're feeling like you need a little exfoliation, do soak a cotton pad with it and massage all over your face. You'll be surprised at the colour of cotton pad after.

Abeau Eternal Youth Rejuvenating Essence

This bottle is kinda like a smaller version of the lotion. It too absorbs super quick which is a relief as some serums can be a lil on the sticky side. Yuck. Since it is only slightly runny, I just apply this with my hands. The essence contains 10 botanical extract complexes and hyaluronic acid for moisture protection, wrinkle care and skin whitening.

Abeau Eternal Youth Enriched Moisturiser

Contains peptides and 16 extracts which help form a water protection membrane keeping skin lustrous and soft.
Look! The cream itself is a really light pink colour.
I like how the previous 2 were so light to match this thicker cream. My dry skin needed some real hydration but you can't exactly force layer upon layer of heavy skincare on my face. It'll just clog up and cause bumps.
Check out that glow! The cream isn't greasy or sticky but it does give my skin the hydration it needs. It feels really comfortable using this both day and night. For night I use a bit more since I sleep in an air-conditioned room.

Abeau Eternal Youth CC Cream

Normally I'm really skeptical about any kind of liquid foundation/BB cream/CC cream. Same thing. They rarely sit well on my skin. BB/CC creams are almost always not in my shade anyway.

To begin with, I don't have a lot to cover but an even skin tone does wonders to your whole look. I'm mostly concerned about my undereyes, pores and redness around my nose. This CC cream managed to tackle all 3 problems although I probably need some extra concealer under my eyes (didn't bother with that anyway lol). Coverage is low-medium and and you can layer it without a problem.
Colour wise, I'm pretty happy with it. It wasn't ghastly or pasty looking. I'm much darker than the photos here (sorry for the over exposed photos) so I am impressed! We get a lot of sun here and I do tan easily. I would definitely wear this daily. It even has SPF50+ PA+++ which is awesome! You won me right there.
Using the entire range, my skin has a pretty glow from within which does not resemble an oily pan at all. I guess this is the ideal 'clear and glowing skin' you see in Korean dramas. I definitely like it.

[Beauty] Klairs Illuminating Supple Blemish Cream Review - Perfect For Dry Skin

I have epic dry skin so I never use liquid foundations. They just make me flake non stop and look like a pasty-faced monster. Thankfully, I have finally found one which I can use! Thank you Wishtrend for the product!

You look so wonderful just the way you are. Be natural.

Do you often look too fair/ grey/ red/ pale with BB creams? Because I DO! Why do they even make those colours? So it was to my surprise and much delight that Klair's has a really natural skin colour compared to many other brands. For once, here's a cream that doesn't make me look too fair and appear as a ghost in photos.

I only need this tiny drop for my whole face every morning. I don't like using too much as I want to keep it natural. The texture is kinda like a really thick mousse so I have to dab it all over first before blending in with my fingers. For areas where I require more coverage, I will tap gently to avoid removing the product.

Voila! No brush or sponge needed.

And the miracle? No flaking skin! My skin has never looked like this with any other cream or liquid based foundations. Even powders can be a bit risky sometimes.

Coverage is light to medium, depending on how much you use and if you layer. I mainly use it to even out my skin tone and I do love how it gives my skin a slight glow. It does not oxidize, darken nor turn orangey/red later in the day. Apart from some shine, I look pretty much the same when I leave the office.

Before and after Klairs Illuminating Supple Blemish Cream

Works great at covering pores and redness around my nose. You can also spot the pimple beside my nose here. I did not layer over it nor use concealer so it's still visible.

Thank you Klairs for producing such an awesome product for girls with dry skin like me! I do recall they have a kickass toner as well but not sure where my bottle went =(

Empro Aqua Gel Base & Aqua BB SPF 30 PA++

Empro has recently upgraded their Aqua Series, namely the Aqua Gel Base & Aqua BB SPF 30 PA++! The range is meant to hydrate & nourish skin while covering imperfections.

Look at this! It's so pretty and sparkly~~ Love the light teal colour.

Looks really silvery in photos. Sorry bout that.. Once blended out, it's not that obvious but it just provides a slight shimmer. Smells really good too and the gel texture is really light. The product is supposed to brighten skin, promote skin regeneration and cover skin problems (uneven skin tone & imperfections) without clogging pores.

"Made from natural ingredients including minerals like coral, pearl, diamond and amethyst, prolonged use of Empro’s Aqua Gel Base will improve your overall dull skin texture and most importantly, helps to protect your skin for pure, even and spotless results - always."

Here, I have applied it on the left of the photo. See? Told you the shimmer isn't too obvious until you look like you jumped out from Twilight.

However, upon close inspection, you will see that the fine shimmer actually helps to brighten your complexion and being out your features. It highlights my cheekbone on the left when it is usually really flat and meh~ Good if you like to create a dewy complexion like the Koreans have.

Next up is the Aqua BB with SPF 30 PA++ which functions as a moisturizer, primer, foundation and sunblock.

"With frequent usage, it is proven to be able to reduce fine lines and discolouration. It provides UV protection with anti-ageing, skin repair benefits whilst rejuvenating the skin.Furthermore is also contains Ceramide and Hyaluronic Acid which enhances the moisture level.

Made from organic ingredients including flower and plant extracts like Rose, Golden Chamomile, Plum Blossom,Marigold,Dandelion, Chameleon, Thyme, and Japanese Ashitaba Leaves which is popularly known as the "Health Herb rich in anti-oxidant properties with 16 kinds of amino acid and a variety of vitamins. Additionally it contains ShisoLeaves which is rich in minerals and vitamins and has good anti-inflammatory effects."

The texture of the Aqua BB is not thick and it's really easy to spread. In fact, you have to use less product as a tiny bit is sufficient.

Looks really natural and it doesn't appear cakey on skin.

I wouldn't say the coverage is really great since I still need concealer but it does even out my skin tone and hide certain scars, veins, redness, pores and blemishes.

*No touch up done on my skin in any of the photos in this post
My panda eyes are really just ridiculously dark so I didn't expect the Aqua BB to cover it anyway.. It does however, brighten my dull skin and give me a more even complexion which is good enough. As I'm quite tanned, the initial colour is too light for me but it adjusts quite well after about 15 minutes.

Not perfect but coverage is good enough for such a light BB Cream.

Aqua Gel Base retails for RM 78.80 and Aqua BB retails for RM 98.90.

Oriks Wild Ginseng Twister Essence & Stemcell BB Cream

The Oriks samples in my Feb Vanity Trove~

Oriks Wild Ginseng Stemcell Twister Essence (RM 218/35 ml)
Soft and velvety, the Wild Ginseng Stemcell Twister Essence reduces visible pores while hydrating and nourishing skin.

It's a pretty lightweight essence that absorbs quickly into skin. It isn't particularly hydrating and I haven't used enough to see results to my pores. Not convinced into spending the money yet.

Oriks Wild Ginseng Stemcell Essence Twister BB Cream (RM 108/35 ml)

The BB cream is formulated with plant stem cells to repair and keep your skin healthy while covering imperfections. It's unique three-tier cream designs include the milk lotion with wild ginseng, the concealer and serum with repair complex CLR.

From here, you can probably see the colour difference. This BB Cream is really fair and does not suit tanned skin at all.

It offers light coverage by evening out skin tone and imperfections slightly. Not too drying on my dehydrated skin but it still flakes. Pores are still visible although mildly masked.

Overall, I'm not too impressed, especially because of the shade. It's so fair, it makes me look sickly even with colour makeup on.
