NEW Starbucks Malaysia Spring Sakura Beverages

Starbucks Malaysia has unveiled two new springtime favourites to celebrate sakura season. These two Cherry Blossom-inspired beverages are super pretty and feature Azuki beans - an Asian favourite.

Azuki Blossom Creme Frappuccino (RM17.50+)

Creamy milk blended with ice and red bean to create an earthy but sweet treat in the sweetest shade of pink everrr! Would order this for the Gram.

Matcha Azuki Blossom Creme Frappuccino (RM17.50+)

I'm already a fan of the green tea frappuccino so naturally I liked this new beverage as well. It's made even better with earthy taste of red beans and the pretty topping.

Both drinks are topped with azuki, fluffy whipped cream (like Mt Fuji!), and tart cranberry bits. They're completed with a shower of delicate pink and white rice puffs shaped like sakura petals.

For the first time in Malaysia, Starbucks will also be offering Coconut Milk at all its stores nationwide, adding to the choices of almond and soy milk. We tried the popular Caramel Macchiato with almond and coconut milk as milk alternatives. It was interesting how the different milk brought out different flavours! I really enjoyed the nutty almond milk version followed by regular Caramel Macchiato. However, I did not enjoy the coconut milk version as it was too sweet and strong for me.

The spring beverages are available at all Starbucks nationwide from 26th March 2019 while stocks last.
