[Review] Althea Petal Velvet Sunaway Review

Can finally post about Althea's Petal Velvet Sunaway after giving it a gooood try! There are many sunblocks in the market but having combination skin, it's really tricky to find a good one that suits my skin.

The texture is watery and ultra lightweight so you won't even feel it on your skin! After blending, it becomes invisible without any white cast.

Moisture filled: Contains Damask rose extracts to ensure your skin stays fresh and hydrated throughout the day.
Sebum control: Like the other products in the Petal Velvet line, this sunblock contains micro-powder particles to give you smooth, petal-like complexion.

Normally a sebum control product will dry out my skin but this product is quite balanced and compatible for my skin. I love the rose scent as well!

After my trip to Dash Resort Langkawi, my whole body had bad sun burn and peeled for days. The only part that survived was my face - where I applied the Althea Petal Velvet Sunaway 😂 Maybe I should have applied it all over?

Along with the Althea Petal Velvet Sunaway, I also received two of their new Petal Velvet Powders. I have already reviewed the original Althea Velvet Petal Powder which I thought was really good for that price.

Petal Velvet Powder in Pink Lavender is a 3rd Anniversary Limited Edition. Pink and purple pigments are known to brighten dull skin to give it a bit of pop. Don't worry about the colour as it will blend into your skin. The Pink Lavender also has a lovely scent and the packaging has such a pretty colour!

The skin colour version is finally out! If you have dark skin, the translucent one might appear ashy on you if you apply too much so do try this #23 shade. Paired with the Sunaway, it's great for students or girls who don't like to apply heavy makeup.

After trying several of their Althea products, I'm looking forward to more of their creations. I am liking this trend of good quality products for affordable prices!
