[Travel] Dash Resort Langkawi Launched + Sneak Peeks

The latest Dash by Ri-Yaz property has just been launched over the weekend by YAB Tun Dr Mahathir and I'm so honoured to have been in the same room as him!

During the launch, Ri-Yaz Hotels and Resorts also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Alphanam Real Estate Vietnam, to manage Altara Residences Quy Nhon and Altara Suites Sa Pa in Vietnam.

Ri-Yaz Hotels & Resorts already owns Dash Hotel Seminyak Bali and Dash Box Hotel Cyberjaya (with the MoF) - both very beautiful with their own attractions.

If you're following me on Instagram @theisabellee, you would have seen some of my photos already. The Dash Resort Langkawi is simply mesmerising but I'll save most of the photos for another post.

During a chat with Datuk Seri Mohammaed Shaheen Shah Mohd Sidek, Founder and Group Managing Director of Ri-Yaz, he mentioned that everything in the resort is made by their own design team based in Bali!

Looking at the Dash Resort Langkawi, I absolutely cannot wait for Dash Hotel KLCC, Dash Heritage Penang and Dash Oriental Malacca!! We already saw photos and it looks like it's going to be really pretty too. Apparently there will be a swimming pool in the lobby?!

Ri-Yaz will also be opening 2 Halal dim sum and boat noodle restaurants (Dodo Dim Sum) in Nu Sentral and Subang Parade! We got to try them at the launch and I must say.. the boat noodle is super good!!!

This exfoliator contains AHA and BHA extracts to remove dead skin cells for smoother skin. I use this combination to remove bumps and pimples and it is very effective. It is also formulated with casein protein from milk to revitalise and moisturise skin.

Massaging it with the foam will create a thick lather which is so soft on skin! Leave on for 30-60 seconds and rinse away. 1 minute is enough and I wouldn't recommend leaving it on for longer anyway as it is an exfoliator after all.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

Compared to scrubs with actual granules, this is considered a mild exfoliator that gently removes impurities. It will take a few uses to really see a difference on your skin. Always moisturise well after using and make sure to use sunblock if you're using AHA BHA products regularly.

[Food] Top Moodmojee Drinks to Try and Where to Get Them!

Anchor Food Professionals has recently launched a range of Moodmojee beverages that are not only yum yum but are pretty enough for the Gram too!

Let's start with my ultimate favourite - Tangy Brew!! Rich cold brew coffee mixed with the tangy freshness of orange which explodes in your mouth followed by its satisfying mixture of cream and cheese foam. Super super gooooddd!! It was the perfect balance.

For all the chocolate lovers, a drink to tingle the taste buds with the unlikely pairing of Yuzu and chocolate. The tangy Yuzu puree tempers the rich chocolate in the cooling Yuzu Chocolate Surprise. The Yuzu taste wasn't very strong but I enjoyed the crushed salt lemon cooling candy on the rim!

The Pom & Grey Twist is one of the prettier beverages with its pretty pink hue. The flavoured cheese tea is a refreshing concoction of mood-boosting Early Grey tea mixed with pomegranate syrup, topped with a generous layer of chocolate cream.

This one right here is a Malaysian favourite that’s both whimsy and decadent – Kayanika Fusion – layers of sweet and creamy with traditional kaya, gula melaka, pulut and red beans.. all topped with a crunchy toast! The presentation makes it Insta-worthy as well.

Another one for the coffee lovers! The White Chocoffee stands tall and proud like a shake with a crown of whipped cream. This sure-winner is a dreamy blend of white coffee mixed generously with delicious chocolate and peanut butter - creating a drink that can be quite filling.
