Eye Candy for the Fashionable

Once upon a time, I decided to be cheap and bought RM 30 frames to be fitted with my RM 300+ prescription lenses.

AND THEN THE FRAME BROKE!! D=

Like wthhh I just wasted my lenses because I wanted to save on my frames?! And they're just 5 months old wuwuwu~~ T_T~~~

Luckily for me, I managed to find a similar frame at Malaya Optical and they recut my old lenses to fit into the new frame for free. In the meantime, I had to wear my old old glasses which were ALSO from Malaya Optical and still perfect. You really get what you pay for! The ones I got from the shop are way more comfortable and durable. Plus these are screwless (without the small rubber thingies on the nose?) so they do feel way better. From the wide selection, I was able to make my choice in about 10 minutes *miracle* My old old ones were a sweet pink but this range has bright orange and green too! I only had to wait 1 day which is awesome since I was almost blind with the outdated prescription.

Then within 1 week I went back again LOL Even my mum got her 'old people glasses' here previously =x

Then we went crazy trying on sunglasses and camwhoring because the environment is just so relaxing and the staff are mega friendly. Not like other shops where they're so uptight and give you cold stares if you're not buying anything. Nope.. Here, we got to try any frame we wanted and take up all the time we needed xD

The Whites

The Paris Hiltons

Check this outtt!! Disguised as a plain black sunnies, it has a discrete red strip on the edge! So sexy.. *faints*

Us girls fell in love with the amazingly beautiful Vivienne Westwood collection~

Ryan, the owner and 3rd generation of the family business was present to show us the various brands available.

I love the Andy Wolf ones because the colour and shape is just so unique!! The Coppe + Sid glasses are inspired by major cities around the world. You can even find one for Kuala Lumpur ;) Someone asked if it's brown because of 'lumpur' (mud) xD

Malaya Optical also carries these super special designs! The pair of Andy Wolf on Reiko is so sexy with it's cat eye shape.

All of us were blown away by this particular pair of Parasite though.. So gorgeous and perfect for those who refuse to wear main stream glasses =O Fashionistas, this one is for you!

Malaya Optical also offers various machines to check your eyes to ensure the best fit for glasses and contact lenses. It is also where I had my eye check and discovered that I had lumps growing under my lid! So yeah.. Go have yours checked often =/

Spot some familiar faces? ;)

Woohoo! Thanks to Ryan and OnlyBeauty for having us over~

Malaya Optical carries selected brands and models of sunglasses/frames range from Coach, Tag Heuer, Fendi, Elle, Nike, Bonia, CK, BYWP, John Richmon, Sama, Zero RH, Rudy Project, Moschino, Benetton, Esprit, Max Mara, Rayban, Robert Marc, Sover, Viktor & Rolf, Viviene Westwood, Aha, Andy Wolf, Blackfin, Byblos, Coco Song, Coppe + Sid, Derapage, Derek Lam, Dutz, Eco, Face Fonts, GF Ferrer, Guess, Mykita, Jf Rey, Lafont, Lotto, Masaki, Modo, Parasite, Public, Spivvy, Staffan Preutz, Undostrial, Try Change, White Out Glare, Wolfgang, & Zottes (while stocks last and subjected to availability).

Phobias, a lot, but don't think they're weird..

The Big Spa Party @ Posh! Nail Spa

The wonderful peeps at The Butterfly Project organized a big Spa Party for the girly bloggers last month. Thanks to Tres Chic - The Party Planner~

The party was held at Posh! Nail Spa which meant.. We get to have our nails pampered!

And nail pampering we got~

Got my toes done with this lovely colour and I dare say it still looks perfect now =O

FOOD from Good Friends Cafe

Tuna on bite sized-cucumber is just yum and refreshing

But I had the most of THIS! I would say it's the best shit ever but it's not shit. I think I had like 3 pieces omg =x Crispy skin with spongey organic tofu inside dipped in fragrant sesame sauce *faint*

Cute lil burgers! I don't think I had this though.. Too busy with the tofu.

For once, macaroons that aren't too sweet! I love the raspberry flavour as well.

Braved myself to try the red velvet (I somehow find the red colour absolutely repulsive) and surprisingly it was nice!

Good food makes people happy =) I just contacted the shop to ask if they serve the fried organic tofu =x

Spotted Suanne from Timeless Truth Masks! She's so friendly and is never 'hard selling' because she feels the masks will convince buyers themselves =) True enough, the bloggers were stocking up during the party.

Best thing to have at a girly party - Fotobox! Complete with props, the girls had a fun time 'camwhoring'. Photos were sent straight to our e-mails too!

Hello~

How can ANYONE possibly have so much swag LOL It is very Chency.

Love this dress on Lisa!

Super adorable Wiida made everyone aww..

A sexy piece on Sarah and gotta love that glittery gold dress Kahmon is donning.

Upstairs is Aspen Spa who was offering free facials and massages but due to the number of girls and limited time, I did not get to try their services.

Ding ding ding! It was prizes time! Ecstatic bloggers receiving their prizes from PinknProper.

There were also more prizes from Johnson's Body CareOnlyBeauty and Posh! Nail Spa. One blogger also won a Signorina edt from Salvatore Ferragamo ermahgad!

All of us left with a bag filled to the brim with goodies from The Body ShopJohnson's Body CareOnlyBeauty and the other sponsors! ^_^ Dog River Island bag is from PinknProper.
