REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask

Got a small trial tube of this after reviewing their Micro Polish Cleanser. I gotta admit my heart's with sheet masks again after using MBD but I guess this deserves a try.

Product says :
A potent bio active peel mask designed to renew the complexion, reduce the appearance of fine lines and dramatically improve skin tone.

Results:
  • Removes dead skin cells to renew the complexion
  • Skin looks brighter, healthier, more radiant
  • Helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Combats congestion, blackheads and blemishes
How to use:
Apply a generous amount onto clean skin over the face and neck, avoiding the eye area. Leave for 10 minutes. Dampen enclosed cloth and gently wipe off mask. Rinse skin with warm water. Slight tingling may be experienced during application. Use weekly. Not recommended for sensitive skin or for use just after shaving.

Reading the reviews HERE, it seems I'm supposed to see results after even the first use..

The mask is gel like and it felt quite nice applying this on my face, especially cos I like the smell. Like the cleanser, it has an orangey smell and colour. It did prove to be a tad bit tedious to wash off. However, the new version now comes with a cloth to wipe off the mask before washing it off.

Removes dead skin cells - Flaking skin is gone..
Brighter, healthier & more radiant skin - Nope.. The cleanser showed this effect but not the mask
Fine lines and wrinkles - If there is to be any result, I wouldn't see it so fast
Congestion, blackheads and blemishes - No immediate effect but it seems to be doing that by drying out my skin.. =/

It did leave my skin feeling soft and smooth but I get the same results from almost any other mask I have..

Pros : Smells nice, removes flaking skin
Cons : Drying, no brightening effect as claimed, takes a bit of work to remove

My conclusion : Hard to give a conclusion after such a brief test but I don't think I'll be buying this because it seems to dry out my skin without giving much benefit. The cleanser is worth considering though.

** Product was provided by the company for free. However, this has not affected my thoughts on the product in any way.
