Silkygirl Hydra Clean Makeup Remover

One thing I don't like about wearing makeup is having to remove it. Don't you just wish you can go straight to bed after a long day? However, removing your makeup is very VERY important! I'm sure you all know the consequences of not removing your makeup so I'll move on to the review.

My sister bought this and kinda abandoned it so recently I dug it out and decided to finish it. I only use this to remove light makeup like loose powder, pressed powder foundation and blusher. Anything more than that, I'll use my Maybelline Makeup Remover.

It's a watery substance that looks like milk. I just rub this on my face for a bit then wash it off with water, followed by facial cleanser.

I never use this with liquid foundation or BB cream as it's unable to remove everything. When I test it by swiping a cotton pad soaked with the Maybelline Makeup Remover, there's still a lot of foundation left on my face.

First few times I used it, my vision became cloudy and I was still wearing my contact lenses! Luckily, the cloudiness went away and since then, I always close my eyes tightly while using it. There's a slight film left on my skin (must double cleanse) but it's not very oily compared to some other makeup removers I've tried. I don't have to use a stronger facial wash just to remove the oil. After washing off, my face feels soft and looks brighter.

I quite like the cap and nozzle. The nozzle is a very good size and it doesn't leak much for something so watery.

Product says : Hydra Clean Makeup Remover is a mild and gentle lotion that effectively removes all traces of makeup.

Formulated with moisturizing properties for sensitive and dehydrated skin. Contains Bio-White to brighten skin tone.

Pros : Leaves face feeling soft, not too oily, cheap, good nozzle
Cons : Clouds vision, only removes mild makeup

My conclusion : I will not repurchase this because it does not do its job very well. I would rather buy something that can remove liquid foundation or mascara as well. I'm not confident that this product can remove all the makeup on my face and it leaves me worrying about clogged pores etc.
