Eye Candy for the Fashionable

Once upon a time, I decided to be cheap and bought RM 30 frames to be fitted with my RM 300+ prescription lenses.

AND THEN THE FRAME BROKE!! D=

Like wthhh I just wasted my lenses because I wanted to save on my frames?! And they're just 5 months old wuwuwu~~ T_T~~~

Luckily for me, I managed to find a similar frame at Malaya Optical and they recut my old lenses to fit into the new frame for free. In the meantime, I had to wear my old old glasses which were ALSO from Malaya Optical and still perfect. You really get what you pay for! The ones I got from the shop are way more comfortable and durable. Plus these are screwless (without the small rubber thingies on the nose?) so they do feel way better. From the wide selection, I was able to make my choice in about 10 minutes *miracle* My old old ones were a sweet pink but this range has bright orange and green too! I only had to wait 1 day which is awesome since I was almost blind with the outdated prescription.

Then within 1 week I went back again LOL Even my mum got her 'old people glasses' here previously =x

Then we went crazy trying on sunglasses and camwhoring because the environment is just so relaxing and the staff are mega friendly. Not like other shops where they're so uptight and give you cold stares if you're not buying anything. Nope.. Here, we got to try any frame we wanted and take up all the time we needed xD

The Whites

The Paris Hiltons

Check this outtt!! Disguised as a plain black sunnies, it has a discrete red strip on the edge! So sexy.. *faints*

Us girls fell in love with the amazingly beautiful Vivienne Westwood collection~

Ryan, the owner and 3rd generation of the family business was present to show us the various brands available.

I love the Andy Wolf ones because the colour and shape is just so unique!! The Coppe + Sid glasses are inspired by major cities around the world. You can even find one for Kuala Lumpur ;) Someone asked if it's brown because of 'lumpur' (mud) xD

Malaya Optical also carries these super special designs! The pair of Andy Wolf on Reiko is so sexy with it's cat eye shape.

All of us were blown away by this particular pair of Parasite though.. So gorgeous and perfect for those who refuse to wear main stream glasses =O Fashionistas, this one is for you!

Malaya Optical also offers various machines to check your eyes to ensure the best fit for glasses and contact lenses. It is also where I had my eye check and discovered that I had lumps growing under my lid! So yeah.. Go have yours checked often =/

Spot some familiar faces? ;)

Woohoo! Thanks to Ryan and OnlyBeauty for having us over~
