FOTD : Chinese New Year

Gong Xi Fa Cai / Happy Chinese New Year to all Chinese readers! ^_^

This is the season to nom all the cookies you want and it's okay!

I live in the city so to infuse the CNY spirit into my un-CNY environment, I decided to make a CNY inspired FOTD. Gold/Yellow for wealth, orange for mandarin oranges and red for ang paos! xD

Only 3 pics cos you don't need more photos of me admiring myself and showing the whole world sharing my FOTD.

Products used

Physician's Formula Concealer
Jordana Blush Powder (Touch of Pink)
Elf Eyeshadow Primer
NYX Eyeshadow Base (Skin Tone)
NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil (Milk)
Manly 80 Colours Palette

Then my falsies were dropping out cos I didn't have enough glue lol so I switched to mascara, added brown on my eye contour and brows. Sorry for the mascara smears. Blinked while it was wet lol Funny how the mascara shows better than the falsies o_0

Pfft.. I still can't handle my brows. Last week, it went on a diet and now I can't seem to shape it back. And my brow scissors broke T_T It feels weird when I fill them in too! Whyyyy~~~~

I really like the whole look..^^ Very sunset-ish but bcz there's red, very appropriate for CNY celebration. Your blending skills improved!^^

  4. Nice look! Happy Chinese new year :) Thanks for your comment by the way. I wish I could use cucumbers on my eyes to give me that cooling effect but unfortunately I have very sensitive eyes so cucumbers make my eyes itchy :(

  5. Actually, I've never tried the cucumber method lol.. But I did buy those liquid filled thingies that you can cool and put on your eyes. I've stopped using those eye masks as the latest ones I got were flat and didn't seem to have absorbed the liquid. Also, there are so many variations and I'm afraid of fake masks =(
