[Beauty] Skin Soul Natural Volume Attack Mascara Review

It's been a while since I've reviewed a mascara and today I want to introduce you to another awesome mascara. I will let the photos speak for themselves so scroll down! ;)

SkinSoul's Volume Attack Mascara bristles are not too close to each other and the formula isn't too thick so I had no clumping problems.

Voila! Both sides have already been curled and I applied one coat of the mascara on the left (my right). It applies quite easily and since there are no clumps, my lashes look naturally real and luscious.

You can see how the mascara manages to lengthen my lashes but it has also reduced the curl by a tiny bit. So if you have droopy lashes like mine, make sure to curl them really good before using this mascara.

Apart from looking great, the formula of this mascara also helps your lashes to grow longer! I do believe it only works as long as you're using it though..

[Beauty] Magimaxx Aquacell Jeju Horse Placenta & Oil Cream Review

Annyeong! I'm here to bring you the latest (and effective) beauty trend after snail cream - horse oil! Yeah ok it sounds a lil disgusting so I feel a need to explain this.

How is Horse Oil obtained?
Koreans eat horse meat and the fat is a byproduct. Someone somehow discovered that the fat under the horse mane, when made into oil, is just freaking awesome. The composition is similar to human skin so it absorbs seamlessly and can be used to heal eczema.

Where to buy Horse Oil Cream?
I got my jar from www.althea.kr, which shipped it over from Korea itself.

Ta-da! Can you believe even the cap is made from real wood?!

Comes with a safety cap so I haven't spilled any of my precious cream so far.

The moment I opened it I was hit in the face with the strong fragrance. It smells nice but maybe a tad too overpowering, eh? It does linger for about an hour and smells like I'm wearing perfume xD

The texture is super nice, like a light gel-cream. It spreads easily and disappears into my skin within a minute. Awesome! I do notice that my skin shines later on in the day, no matter how much I try to dab it away. Despite the shine, it does not feel oilier than usual. If you're going for the dewy Korean skin look, this should help ;)

Overall, my dry skin is totally loving it and I would recommend you to try it out.

[Travel] 5 Holidays To Get Excited About

It's at this time of year when we can start to feel a little groggy, under the weather and tired as soon as the night starts to close in. Battle the winter blues by booking yourself a nice holiday to look forward to in the new year! You might even decide to book last minute and find some winter sun or a European Christmas market. Take a look at these top five holiday destinations.

Kenya
Lots of people dream about going on a wildlife safari, make it a reality on a holiday to Kenya. There are 19 national parks to discover, which span over Kilimanjaro and The Great Rift Valley. There is even an opportunity to spot herds of red elephants in Tsavo East! Sun worshippers will also be happy to know that Kenya has a great offering of beaches like Diani Beach, Bamburi and Kilifi.

Spain
Home to many renowned resorts, Spain is sure to have a holiday that makes you happy. For all year round sunshine and high temperatures, head to the Canary Islands: Tenerife, Lanzarote and Gran Canaria. They also have weird but wonderful inland terrain to explore, like the volcanic Timanfaya National Park in Lanzarote. The Balearic Islands are also beautiful and Ibiza still has a reputation for being one of the world's party capitals. Culture vultures might prefer the bustling capital city of Madrid.

Mexico
With beaches on the Pacific Coast and Caribbean Coast, and Mayan ruins and thriving carnivals in between, Mexico is a destination never to forget. You can explore the ruins of Tulum and Chichen Itza, go abseiling down the Sierra Madre Mountains and then take it easy on one of the paradisaical beaches. Popular resorts include Riviera Maya, Puerto Vallarta and Playa del Carmen. Temperatures here rarely drop below 20°C and you can expect highs of mid-30s in the peak season.

Croatia
This picture perfect country is emerging as a favourite for travellers looking for the perfect blend of culture, beaches and activities. Dubrovnik is famous for its UNESCO World Heritage Site ancient city walls that visitors can walk around before wandering in the Old Town. Make the most out of the surrounding Dalmatian Sea by staying in Split then venturing out for scuba diving and snorkelling around reefs and caves. Game of Thrones fans might want to book onto the tour that takes you around filming sites.

Barbados
Add some Caribbean flavour to your holiday by heading to Barbados! Think sunbathing on white sands, cooled by the leaning palm trees, with a rum based cocktail in hand. St James and St Peter are resorts given the nickname Platinum Coast - you can imagine how perfect it looks. There is also a fascinating colonial history to retrace at Sunbury Plantation House.

Hopefully you'll be inspired to think about booking a holiday for 2016! Whether it's a European hotspot or Caribbean twist, it doesn't matter as long as you know there's going to be plenty of sunshine.

[Fashion] gangnamladys - Accessories from Korea

Aloha! If you follow me on social media you will know that I got these parcels from Korea and they're filled with awesome stuff. The first parcel was clothes but this one is all accessories from gangnamladys =D

Grey bodycon dress from Uptownholic. I swear dresses are my weakness. I can't stop buying them! Super duper soft and high quality thick material. Triple layered pearl necklace to keep it fancy. Looks great as a photo prop as well =x

Chasing the Monday blues away with a cute office outfit. Pink cardi also from Uptownholic. Red skorts from Bkk while the bunny ears are from MISS21! They come with wires so you can bend them to be flat or standing up. I just got a haircut btw. Really loving these hair trims!

I guess I can still pull these off for a while more before I'm deemed too old to be wearing bunny ears xD

And lastly, something to look more expensive and luxurious! Diamante necklace to give some bling~s

Which one's your fav? I kinda like the first one with the diamonds and pearl =D

[Food] The Morning After, Sunway Pinnacle

We were here on a weekend night for dinner and it was surprisingly empty. The whole area was dark and seemingly abandoned. Even the Starbucks in front of the building was closed. We were the only patrons there for the rest of the night after the other table left.

The Morning After Sunway Pinnacle

The interior is really pretty with plenty of square wooden tables and several sofa seats.

There is even a ‘private room’ - separated by a curtain - with a square seating area to accommodate about 15 people. The lighting is warm and dim, providing a cozy and romantic environment.

Quite a number of items on the menu including breakfast, burgers, pasta, meat and salads.

Reading The Morning After menu

Striploin Steak RM 37
Although I initially had my eyes on the Soft Shell Crab pasta, I settled for the steak instead. It turned out pretty good and the portion was more than enough to fill my tummy. The sauce was quite yummy, albeit a little salty, and had us literally asking for more. I really just poured it over everything and dipped my friend’s potatoes into the sauce as well. The steak was a little tough to cut but it is my fault for asking for it medium done since I cannot stand the sight of a bloody steak. I finished every last bit of the garlic mashed potatoes hidden underneath.

Grilled Lamb Shoulder RM 30
Regretted a little ordering the steak the lamb was even better! The meat was softer and juicier with a strong gamey taste which I loved. The portion was ridiculously big, consisting of mostly meat. The sauteed mushrooms and mixed vegetables served with both the meat dishes were cooked well and not too hard.

An American Dream RM 25
Clarissa ordered An American Dream (RM25). Yes, she had 'breakfast' for dinner lolol You get a poached egg, roasted potatoes, turkey ham, chicken sausage, sammie, sauteed mushrooms and tomatoes. Quite a heavy meal with a nice variety. Loved the ham, sausage and I finished the roasted potatoes with the steak sauce. Yum yum..

Since the place was empty, we took advantage of it and snapped photos everywhere LOL

We took this photo in the lobby so that's why the lighting is so much better.
P.S. Parking in front is valet parking and costs RM 10 per entry.

I see a variety of pinks, orange, red, neutral and purple which is awesome!

The wand picks up a good amount of product and is easy to apply with. They also have a mechanism inside the tube that prevents excess product from coming out. No complains!

OR02 Orange Some
This shade just did NOT work out. Orange is a very risky colour for me (hello, jaundice face) so I was a bit skeptical but I tried anyway. It was looking more yellow on me compared to some other bloggers. Probably works better on fairer skin and needs a good concealer underneath.

PK03 Shah Pink
Many pinks do not appear on my lips (I refuse to dry out my lips with concealer) but Shah Pink did a great job at covering my original lip colour, providing the pink with the perfect base. I love how sweet the pink looks!!

RD02 Red Sing

Going for a more Korean lip look with Red Sing. I like how the red is so young and has a slight orange tone to it. Good starter if you're trying out reds.

The Face Shop Ink Lipquid RD02 Red Sing

Shah Pink had the best colour and texture. It applied so smooth! I love how they all gave my lips a shiny pout as promised and were not drying on my lips. I'm impressed..

Shah Pink is my favourite out of the bunch and my current go-to for pink lips =D It's slim and small so I just pop it into my bag.
