My Beauty Diary Sake Yeast Mask

I actually was a little reluctant to try this after reading some reviews online but I was reaching the end of my assorted box.

The smell... Urgh! Guess I saw it coming from the name and the reviews I saw. It's a fermented alcohol smell that is quite strong. Use in well ventilated room loll

This is the Cooling Mask but they all look the same. Comfy, good fit, thin hydrating sheet, very moist.

The box says this is for 'Shining & Radiance' but I only felt a moisturizing effect as usual. Strangely, the sheet was more yellowish compared to the others. Also, it irritated my skin slightly (itchy & red spots became more inflamed). I'm sure it's authentic cos I bought it from the pharmacy and it was in the same box with the other whiter masks.

I'm looking to stock up on these online but not really sure where I can find a cheap, local & reliable seller. I'm aware of fake MBD masks in the market. You can read on a few ways to differentiate the fakes from the authentic ones HERE.

  3. If theyre from those shops, it should be ok. Those from night markets or online may be fake. My friend got red bumps after using one.

  8. Yup! I got the assorted box from Guardian Pharmacy. I found the aloe average only.. Black Pearl still my fav. I feel they are all moisturising but only Black Pearl, Bulgarian White Rose & Earl Grey Tea had much brightening effect. Any idea where to get them locally (apart from shops cos they're pricey)? Any trusted online sellers?

  9. Hmm this yeast scented sheet sounds interesting, lol. I've been using the strawberry yoghurt and choc truffle sheets, and they seem to temporarily exaggerate my red marks too, but my skin is always super soft and smooth the next day.

  10. Oh? Maybe try another type like Black Pearl? I wanted to try chocolate truffle but here, we gotta buy it with the set which I don't want.
