Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Cream

As mentioned several posts below, I got a free sample of the Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Cream. Phew.. Such a mouthful. So anyway, I finally opened it to try it out 2 days ago. From the comments on the MY HadaLabo Facebook page, it was suggested that people with oily skin should use this at night.

Is it me or does the jar above seem to glow and you feel an invisible force telling you to buy it?

This amount of enough for my nose & forehead
The moisturizing cream is white and fragrance-free. Although it's called a moisturizing cream, I feel that it's a combination of gel and cream because it's not like the usual thick and creamy creams which would be too heavy for my face (Clinique's moisturizing lotion didn't work for me at all). It's also kinda slippery which makes it spread really well.

So I applied it on my face like any other moisturizer, after toner. I only needed a small pearl size for my whole face. After what seemed like a decade of rubbing, I gave up trying to make it absorb and just went to bed. The next morning, I looked into the mirror and my face was super oily >.< After blotting with a tissue paper, I noticed that my skin was so soft, smooth and supple. And for the whole day after that, my skin wasn't any oilier than usual.

After rubbing it in, it doesn't leave my skin looking greasy. Sorry if I look tired. Was about to go to bed.

Only this morning did I realise that the moisturizing cream was also meant to be patted in like the lotion. *smacks self for not reading instructions* By then, I had already applied it to my cheeks so I took another dot, rubbed it between my hands and attempted to apply it like the lotion. Unfortunately, I think my hands absorbed it all as I didn't feel as though I transferred anything to my face at all! I guess I'll stick to the conventional way of applying moisturizer then pat it after it's already on my face. By the end of my 'patting session', my face was still a little sticky but after walking around the house for a bit, the stickiness reduced and my face was triple S again. Oh yeah, while I was patting it in, I experienced that 'doink-doink' thing they've been advertising about! Thought of taking a video of it but felt it would be too ridiculous =.=
Edit : Tried the patting again and it works! Just have to use a bit more. Maybe all the patting is good for my circulation too as my face seems to glow from within lol

Initially, the price was a turn off for me but since I'm only using such a small amount, the jar will actually last longer than my current Za Deep Hydrating Gel. It is a tad bit oily for day use but nothing a blotting paper/tissue can't handle. Definitely worth it for a soft and doink-doink face!

You can read more about the products at their website. They have super cute animations and explanations. For example, here's the page for the Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Cream

They even explain how to wash your face!

The animation is so cute lah! And the tune that plays on the website is also kinda catchy. I think they did a very good job with the website =) The Facebook page is also very good as a platform for users to ask/discuss about the products.
