Guardian Tea Tree Oil + Witch Hazel Night Treatment Gel

Ok so I walked into Guardian's a month ago and was browsing the aisle with facial care. That was actually the first time I saw Guardian brand products. I felt so totally jakun. It's like those Carrefour brand instant noodles and milk. They're cheaper than the other brands sold there. So anyway, I'll be reviewing the Tea Tree Oil + Witch Hazel Night Treatment Gel which I've been using every night.

I like the bottle, clear and clean. Reminds me of hair gel, though. Eww.. The translucent bottle is good so you can see how much is left inside the bottle. Surprisingly, it doesn't smell very strongly of tea tree oil but has a slight pleasant scent which disappears.

When you squeeze it out, it's like soft jelly. A pale green clear gel. It dries down to a smooth, almost powdery feel. It's supposed to prevent pimples but I can't feel the effect. I mean, it's not a miracle gel. It feels soothing when I apply it because it’s a gel but sometimes, too much can come out from the tube or some gets into my hair which feels really icky. Luckily, it is not sticky so after rubbing it a little, you won't feel it there anymore.

I made a mistake when I bought this. I did not check the expiry date!!

If you look at the bottom, it says it has actually expired 4 days ago T_T But being stingy me, I'm going to continue using it anyway. Besides, it's almost brand new! It would be so wasteful to throw the whole bottle away.. So sometimes I also use this for day use, which is okay cos it's not too rich for day use, unlike night creams.

  1. O:

I bought the daily moisturizer and the face wash for it during the sale. :\

I think you got it in a sale too.

But I loved the daily moisturizer! It made my face look fairer(a bit ghostly but you can still see blush in my face) and the face wash, left me pimple-less for quite a while!

Apparently, HadaLabo(current face wash, toner) still gives me pimples. ):

  2. Oh? I didn't really see anything else. I wasn't focusing on facial wash/moisturizer cos already have. You mean the moisturizer shows? It's white?

I've been wanting to try out the Hada Labo AHA Facial Wash (the blue tube) but I still have cleaners to finish x.x My sis gets break outs from using the Hada Labo lotion
