Welcome to the newest The BAR°N at Sunway Pyramid! It offers a unique ambience while serving up a refreshingly distinct experience for diners with signature offerings which include tapas, flame-grilled delectable and an extensive selection of wine.
This is their 6th outlet after Citta Mall, Desa Park City, 1 Mont Kiara, Pavilion KL and Gurney Plaza. It easily stands out with it's elaborate ceiling featuring magical wire mesh animals floating in clouds.
And guess what.. they brought an actual camel to the launch LOL The BAR°N Sunway Pyramid was launched by Barny the Camel, a special guest traversing the Pyramids of Egypt before making a stop at the Pyramids of Sunway.
The BAR°N is located on the ground floor of Sunway Pyramid with large glass windows so sunlight fills the room. However, I sat beside the window and it was very hot.

The BAR°N's menu is huuuge with a large selection of non-alcoholic beverages, coffee, wine, alcohol, and even food. You could even bring your family here in the daytime as it is family-friendly.
Three bespoke wine cocktails were specially curated by The BAR°N’s resident bartender to be served to the guests at the launch. Inspired by the land of golden sands, these wine cocktails are aptly named The Hump, Cleopatra Dreams, and Sangria from the Pyramids.
Being called a wine bar, The BAR°N offers an extensive list of wines ranging from the classical red and white to sparkling and even dessert wine sourced from all around the world.
There is also a lotttt of food here but I didn't get to taste most of it so I shall share only photos.

In conjunction with its Songkran campaign this month, video streaming service dimsum hosted a special media preview at STREAT Thai restaurant, Bangsar South.
As the video-on-demand service with the largest Thai content offering in Malaysia, dimsum aims to further promote Thai creativity and culture in Malaysia, as part of its Asian content focus. The event is honoured by the presence and speech by Minister Counselor Mr. Amnat Phalapleewan from the Royal Thai Embassy.
Dimsum announced their new Thai content coming from Channel 3, a major Broadcaster in Thailand. The titles included Thong Ake – The Herbal Master, The Cupids, Nakee, Waves of Life, and featured future productions of My Love from Another Star, Prophecy of Love, and My Husband-in-Law.
“We are pleased to conclude a multi-territory and multi-title deal with Channel 3, acquiring 350 hours of their Thai drama series, which comes timely with our Songkran celebration. Our findings show that there is a growing popularity of Thai content in Malaysia and the region, and this new partnership will mark a big expansion in dimsum’s Thai library, attracting more subscribers and retaining dimsum’s position as holding the largest Thai content line up in this region,” said dimsum Chief Marketing Officer, Lam Swee Kim.

A romantic comedy set during the reign of King Rama 5. Ahh.. what is summer without a refreshing cool drink? Starbucks has unveiled THREE new Frappuccino blended beverages with super delicious flavours to combat this hot summer.
First up is the unique Mixed Berry Frappuccino Blended Beverage with Pomegranate Pearls. Yup.. Except these aren't your usual chewy pearls. They burst with real pomegranate juice as they pop in your mouth. Yum! The drink is made from mixed berry sauce blended with velvety milk and topped with whipped cream - perfect for summer.
