Elf Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder

This product has been compared to a certain Nars product but IMO, it isn't as good. I heard the casing is better though as it's more plastic-y and easier to clean. Mine is kinda dirty now. Please ignore that =x

There's a big mirror inside (love!) and a plastic divider which keeps the powder from dirtying the mirror. I feel the whole casing is quite big. I'm not a fan of the bronzer so to bring this whole thing out (when I work) just for the blusher is ridiculous when I have much smaller ones.

They're both kinda powdery, actually.. You can see it from the pan.

The reason why I don't like the bronzer is because it's too dark for my skin tone, doesn't blend well, goes on uneven and appears patchy. It just looks like there's some dirt on my face =_=" I did consider using it as eyeshadow but because it's patchy and lacks pigmentation (too pigmented as bronzer, too sheer as eyeshadow), I ditched the idea.

The blusher however, was my fav some time back. There's a small amount of fine shimmer in it that gives my cheeks a subtle glow. Although it's powdery, it's rather pigmented and easy to blend. I like the colour too ^_^ Lasting power is decent too.

Rediscovering my love for this product (the blusher half) ^_^ It's kinda similar to the Wet N Wild Pearlescent Pink but with much less shimmer.

Product says : Create a healthy and natural glow all year long. The Blush highlights the cheeks to add a flush of color, while the Bronzer accents and contours cheekbones for beautiful definition.
Ingredients : Talc, Mica, Magnesium Stearate, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Paraffinium Liquidum (Mineral Oil), Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Iron Oxides (CI 77491 CI 77492 CI 77499), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77981), Red No.40 Lake (CI 16035), Ultramarine Blue (CI 77007)
Size : 0.28 oz / 8 g
Price : RM 10 / $ 3
Bought from : Elf (through Lowyat.Net)
Made in China

Pros : Big mirror, blusher (pigmented, slight shimmer adds glow, easy to blend), cheap
Cons : Bronzer (patchy, too dark/pigmented, uneven, doesn't blend well), powder

My conclusion : Even though the bronzer kinda sucks, RM 10 for the blusher alone is worth it. Not something I will bring out due to it's size but I don't mind using it at home.

Aww.. Wish the bronzer would work for me. No matter how much I blend, it's just so blotchy =(

Yup.. If it weren't for the blusher, I would have tossed this lol
