Or... Victoria Sweden Egg White Facial Care Soap. It's one of those facial soap bars that double as a cleanser and mask. I've tried 3 similar ones in the past but while those were formulated using mud, this one used egg whites!

They say egg white facial originated from traditional Sweden but this trend became extremely popular in Korea a few years back. Egg white facial masks are still being used now but it is messy, you waste the yolk and it honestly smells lolol So here is the convenience of the same thing but in soap form.

Quite a big bar for RM 40, considering it is meant for your face. It is selling overseas for $5.

How to Use As Mask

1) Wet face, hands and bar of soap

2) Create a thick lather using your palms

3) Apply lather on face

4) Leave on for 5 minutes (but not until it dries completely)

5) Wash off

6) Apply skincare like usual

OMG Isabel, how can you put soap on your face?

It's alright.. Just make sure you make a thick lather and don't wait til it's totally dry. Besides, it's formulated with rose water and lanolin to sooth and moisturize skin. To my amusement, their claims of rosey skin (albeit temporary for now), smaller pores and sebum control were also true. Pimples were also controlled by the 2nd day. Not bad.. I pair it with an extraction tool to squeeze all the gunk out of my pores. Pure satisfaction, I tell ya!

Tips

• Wet only one hand and one end of the soap. Use your dry hand to hold the dry end.
• Rest the soap like the photo below so the wet end is not touching the container and let it air dry
• If you are storing the soap without airing it, make sure your container has holes so the water is drained
• Place soap away from water sources and do not cover it

[Food] Simple Life Vegetarian Restaurant, Sunway Pyramid

What comes to mind when I say vegetarian & healthy food? Bland, tasteless and only green?
- If that's your answer, you need to redefine your definition of healthy vegetarian food! Take a trip to Simple Life Vegetarian Restaurant in Sunway Pyramid and tell me if you still feel the same after a meal.

Fresh Mixed Fruit Tea RM 15.90
This just is recommended for 2-3 pax
Contains Peach & Passion Fruit Ahmad Tea, pineapple, orange, passion fruit, watermelon and apple. Instead of a refreshing cold thirst quencher, this is more of a sweet treat to enjoy with your meal. Served warm in cute lil shot glasses.

Deep Fried Lion's Mane Mushroom RM 12.90
Over here, they don't cook food that pretends to be meat but this mushroom texture and look is 99% like chicken! I highly recommend you to order this! It's crunchy and super nice to chew. In fact, it was so good that we asked for another to take away xD

Organic Lei Cha RM 16.90
Charles, the outlet manager, told us that one bite will determine if you either love or hate lei cha. Which was hilarious because Senri & I both ate it and I absolutely loved it while she could not stand the taste. Very accurate ah you! A myriad of greens are thrown together with organic tofu, roasted peanuts, pumpkin seed & sunflower seeds giving an interesting combination of textures and taste. The taste was not icky nor very green. In fact, it was a little like rice in boiled chicken soup. I would have more but the portion is crazy! Share this if you're not a big eater.

The soup is made from pounded tea leaves, basil, mint and herbs. Super yums!

Charcoal Burger RM 14.90
The buns were fluffy and soft. Patty replaced with egg and mash. Layered with greens and served with a side of tempura shrooms. Nyum! Surprisingly so good for a burger without any meat in it. And those tempura shrooms? I could sit in front of my TV with a whole tub. They stayed crispy til the last bite too.

Is this restaurant worth a try? YES! The food is delicious and healthy at the same time.

[Beauty] Cetaphil Cleansing Cloths Review

I've always used liquid makeup removers so the Cetaphil Cleansing Cloths were foreign to me.

What I didn't like - only 25 sheets?! I would be done with it in less than a month. But then again, you wouldn't want more because the older ones would dry up. Also, I would like to think of this as a good travel essential so you don't need that much.

A new pack comes with the seal which I suppose you should peel and throw away but I always keep it so that it's even more air tight.

Unfortunately, it made an awkward tear in the packaging =/ So my air tight plan has been compromised but it's okayy.. Still comes with the plastic cover which is super sturdy.

I was a bit skeptical about the cleansing cloths since they were not exactly super moist. In fact, they were drier than baby wipes. The size seemed alright.. Here it is compared to my face.

I found it effective to remove foundation, eyeliner, eyebrow pencil, sunblock, lipstick and lip gloss easily. I wouldn't recommend this for thick mascara as you usually need to soak those in a cotton pad and as I have mentioned.. these aren't very moist.

Ta-da! My face felt so clean afterwards without feeling sticky, dry or oily. I'm surprised that the sheets were effective even though they felt dry. Plus they didn't irritate my eyes.

I've always been more of a 'hands-on' person when it comes to applying makeup but sometimes a good brush can really make a difference! And remember.. good brushes aren't necessarily expensive. My elf brushes were only $3! =D

Here's a versatile brush that you can use with a variety of products!

The difference between brush and sponge is that brush application looks more natural and less cakey. I do prefer how my foundation looks like with a brush and the Breena Beauty Face Luxe Brush does a good job:

• Sweeps pressed powder without looking cakey
• Dense enough to give a good coverage without splaying
• Not too dense so it holds just the right amount of loose/mineral powder instead of a whole chunk of powder
• Easy to blend

The shape of the brush with rounded edges is also great! It fits well into my facial curves and manages to sneak into the tight corners around my nose. I found the synthetic bristles to be soft and not irritating at all. You don't have to opt for animal hair in order to get soft brushes! =)

The brush is cheap and good. If you're not a make up artist, you probably do not need 10 brushes for your different foundations so you can grab this multipurpose one.

This post popped up on my Facebook news feed and I unknowingly clicked on it without realizing I could have been scammed by hundreds if not thousands of Ringgit.

The titles would contain things like losing massive amounts of weight in a short period of time or success stories.

I clicked on it and amazingly, the product sounded so convincing and many people were leaving positive testimonials in the comments as well.

But then I clicked on it again and found out that it brought me to a different website with similar content. That's when I realized something was wrong. Also, all the links and tabs on the website lead you to a page to purchase the product.

Hard Sell Advertisements
Plus they were being ridiculously hard sell with the Pure Cambogia Ultra And Pure Life Cleanse ads all over.

Stops you from leaving
Okay... NO WAY a news portal/e-mag would post such message if you wanted to leave.

[Beauty] Neesya Illuminating Essence & Brightening Overnight Mask Review

After the Neesya Brightening Enzymatic Refiner, I proceeded to try out the rest of the Intensive Overnight Radiance set.

Neesya Illuminating Essence (RM129/65ml)
Troubled by dull, uneven toned and dehydrated skin that has lost its glow? This essence promises to fix all that.

The essence is a clear liquid that does not have any scent.

I found the texture of the essence rather unique. It's watery but might make your face feel slightly tacky after application. And by tacky, I don't mean sticky like Hada Labo but I would liken the feeling to a very mild tape. Not exactly a bad thing though as it does absorb fairly fast. To counter it, I massage it in while my face is still very moist with toner.

4 drops, twice daily is sufficient for me. Although it does hydrate my skin, I have yet to notice any of the other effects.

An intensive overnight treatment mask formulated with Silver Vine Extract and AlphaMelight. Contains concentrated dose of brightening complex to help diminish skin discoloration, revitalise complexion and restore skin hydration while you rest. I've tried several overnight/sleeping masks but have not been particularly fond of any simply because of their sticky residue. Yuck. Surprisingly, the same cannot be said about Neesya's. Although it is still quite thick, adequate massaging will ensure comfort while sleeping without your hair sticking on your face.

Honestly, the effects are not spectacular but I like the texture enough to continue using it. Perhaps it will take some time for the effects to reveal themselves?
