[Review] Nivea Extra Whitening Skin Therapy Serum & Skin Conditioner

You've probably used serums on your face but did you know there are serums for your body as well?

I decided to challenge myself to pamper my skin continuously for 14 days and see if there is a difference. For the 2 weeks, these 3 products have become a staple in my life. Nivea Skin Conditioner for during shower, Nivea Extra Whitening Skin Therapy Serum for day time and Nivea Whitening Night Serum for before bed.

This Nivea Skin Conditioner is meant to be used after your shower gel. It is not, I repeat NOT a shower gel. It covers your skin with a nourishing layer and you'll feel immediately silkier skin.

I rarely use body lotion in the daytime because it's sticky and oily yuck. But I was shocked to discover that the Nivea serums were not sticky at all! It even comes with SPF33 PA+++ to protect your skin from the sun. So now my entire body has SPF protection, not just my face.

It has a very mild scent. Doesn't bother me at all. It looks thick but believe me.. Every single bit gets absorbed and you won't feel a thing! The Night Serum is equally as good but it smells nicer.

Dear Nivea, I love to wear shorts so can I please have nice legs?

My legs are notoriously dry and cracked with scars from shaving. After using this combination for 2 weeks, my skin is less dry and even le Bf asked me why my arms and legs feel smoother. Yes! I admit it's not really moisturizing enough for my legs so guess I'll be topping up with a Nivea Body Lotion just for that extra boost of moisture.

I believe my knees don't look as dark as before too.. o_O

In love with these Nivea serums, especially for day use! You can even keep one bottle in your car or office to reapply before lunch time.

[DIY] Buying Fabrics from 1004yo Korea

Cosplayers, DIY-lovers and people who love to sew will love 1004Yo on OKDGG! Got these all the way from South Korea because the quality and variety is better than those in Malaysia.

Apart from these fabrics, they also sell leather material, yarn, sewing tools, lace, buttons and more.

I was a bit concerned about the cloth getting wet during postage but turns out they triple protected it =O

Hellooo~~~ Got this whole stack from 1004yo. One of them were already nearing the end of the roll so 1004yo gave me the rest of it as well. That's an extra 2.5m! 

Plus a freebie omg why you so nice!



Then my sister shrieked because she spotted this piece of Michael Miller fabric (branded cloth lol)

The quality is superb! We're having ideas of turning this into a Hawaii-themed shirt for Carlson.

The colours are vibrant and design is very detailed.

Before they turn into clothes, I'm using them as photo backdrops xD

This kind of textured cloth is pretty expensive in Malaysia. Prices are quite affordable on 1004yo so my sister and mom took the opportunity to grab a whole bunch. Perhaps a little dress for my almost-born-niece!

[Review] La Belle Rose Flower Powder Mask

Remember those La Belle ampoules earlier? I will be reviewing the Rose Flower Powder Mask from the same shop - De Beaute. It's meant to give a moisturizing and smoothing effect.

Preparation

• 25g mask powder (1 packet)
• 60ml water (or La Belle Rose Toner)
• spoon or spatula
• small bowl

Mix the powder with the water slowly until it becomes a smooth paste.

Honestly, it really does look like mushroom soup xD At this point it was too watery. If you encounter the same thing, just let it sit for 10 seconds.

From there, be really quick and apply it on your face! It will thicken and turn into this oat-like mixture (too dry already).

Apply the WHOLE bowl evenly on face to 3mm thick or more. It's gonna look really thick and lumpy. I didn't detect any strong scents.

* In this photo I didn't use enough so make sure you apply everything~

Leave on for 15-30 minutes (make sure it's not too dry). I applied unevenly so some parts - where it's white and cracked - were much drier than the rest. I suggest you to apply nearer to 3mm thick as the thin parts were really dry while the thick portions (cheeks) were just right.

If you apply it thick enough, the mask will peel off in sheets.

When I was nearing the end of the 15 minutes, I felt a slight burning sensation all over. My skin sensitivity was confirmed upon seeing this redness after washing my face. The redness only lasted half an hour though. However, my face was super smooth as promised and somehow my clogged pores & blackheads were easier to extract. I Googled a bit and couldn't find another blogger who got this redness. Maybe my skin hasn't fully healed? FYI, I got sensitive bumps all over about a month ago which last 2 weeks. So if you're currently experiencing sensitive skin, do not use this mask.

It's affordable at RM 5 per pack at De Beaute. I saw it selling for RM 6 elsewhere =x

[Fashion] Mint Sweater from Showroom Korea

Pastels are love! And mint is one of my favourite colours~ I got this piece all the way from Showroom, South Korea. They have super a lot of sweaters, jumpers and knit clothes currently and they're all so pretty!

Nice mo nice mo hehehe.. Going pastel with light pink lipstick from Makeup Revolution.

I got this whole bunch - 2 dresses, 2 skorts, 1 cardigan and 1 sweater. One of the dresses even comes with a clincher! The quality is superb and comes with lining. Shipping is free above $100 and they do ship to Malaysia.

It's warm and perfect for class, movies or anywhere cold, including Genting. Material is soft and fluffy; not prickly at all.

When I got it, there were a few other colours as well but I think I got the prettiest one lah HAHA
