Career Fair for Students by TalentCorp & UiTM

Approaching the end of my second degree year, I begin to wonder,

"What's next?"

Where am I going after I finish studying? How do I know if I will like working here?

That's why TalentCorp & UiTM organized the Sector Focused Career Fair on 12-13 Nov 2013. It was part of their effort to increase exposure on the various job openings in priority sectors under the 11 National Key Economic Areas.

Participants of the event included more than 30 companies - AIG, DHL, Electrolux, Frost & Sullivan, GlaxoSmithKline, HP, IBM, LaFarge, Sime Darby and PwC.

YB Senator Dato’ Sri Abdul Wahid bin Omar has the opinion that "Shared Services and Outsourcing industry will be a key focus area to propel Malaysia forward".

According to Johan Mahmood Merican, CEO of TalentCorp, SFCF was hosted to "provide exposure and attract our young Malaysian graduates to pursue an exciting career with the fast growing shared services sector".

Graduates were able to meet CEOs and HR personnel from the companies, discover career opportunities and find out more about Shared Services and Opportunities.

Part of the 2-day event included Career Talks and Couch Corner Slot which allowed the youngsters to interact with prominent industry leaders.

Solone Role Switching Liquid Eyeliner

Always on the lookout for more liquid eyeliners cos they're my staple makeup product! Today's brand is Solone~ Love the packaging from their latest Alice in Wonderland series!

Don't be fooled by it's Brown cap.. it's still a black eyeliner. I got confused myself lmao

Unlike my other brush type liners, this one has a felt tip similar to the Cyber Colors one except Solone has a softer tip. It's easier to control if you have shaky hands but doesn't quite bend for the wing like brushes.

The colour comes out solid black and the felt tip can create thin to fat lines.

No complains about the wear. It doesn't budge nor smear under my eyes =)

If you're into crisp black lines, this is for you. However, I do prefer brown eyeliners nowadays so I'm waiting for the Brown version to come out! ^_^ At RM 35.90, it's cheaper than a lot of liquid eyeliners out there.

I also saw this interesting makeup remover from Solone. I tested it and it works too!

Mediental 2 Step Clinic Mask

More of those 2 step masks~ Each piece comes with it's own serum and sheet mask. Got these from Hermo.

I tried the orange packet (very very confusing with all the foreign words) first. The serum looks and smells like honey! Luckily, it was not sticky like honey xD As usual, the amount is way more than enough but I massaged it all in anyway. Their serums are awesome, I tell you! You can immediately see that skin is much more hydrated and plump.

Step 2! Mask time~ The mask itself is pretty regular. Thin, moist pulp sheet.

Because I already loaded my skin with so much serum, I had to massage in the excess serum from the mask as well. It wasn't too sticky but it was quite evident that hydration levels were better as my fine lines were smoother as well.

I wonder if they do sell the serum separately? =(

One time in primary school, we had this survey where we had to answer things about our house. One of it was house type. Then that time I was young and didn't understand these words yet so I asked my teacher what's a Bungalow and she said it's a big house with garden. So you know.. Being a small girl, my house is big la right? So I went and tick Bungalow then mana tau when I went home to ask my mum she said we are staying in a terrace house. A bungalow is MUCH BIGGER.

Then I started getting scared cos now I accidentally lied in the survey.

What if my teacher finds out that I don't actually stay in a bungalow?!

Will the government come and find me?!

Then all my friends and classmates will think that I purposely lied about my house oh no oh no oh noooo! Stressful moment, I tell you.. Didn't know even a kid can be so stressed about houses.

But it's not over.. Now when we get older, house stress comes back when you wanna buy a house =( House, why you so scary?! Now there are even MORE types than when I answered that survey.

And they all come with different prices. Honestly, I know nuts about buying houses and it scares me. I don't want to end up buying a wrong one and having to pay for it the rest of my life. Luckily, there are websites like Propwall to help me! It contains a lot of KL local infos to guide me through the process, like average prices.

They also show the Hot Spots and Top Properties in the area. Great if you don't know where to start. Just click on random spots and start researching. Inside you will find a summary of the area, property details, layout, facilities (for condo), market trends and even an analysis. I feel like this website is talking to me.

At the bottom there's a kinda forum to ask questions. Please don't judge my bimbo questions ya T_T

Next exhibition - shampoo that makes your hair black. Sure anot?! Okay, I went back to ask my mum and she said there really is such a thing but people say applying black sesame works too LOL I dunno but I'll go with the shampoo over black sesame.

Gigantic face mask! Never complain about masks being too small for your face again. It's RM 5 only for 29 pieces and includes patches for eye mask!

I got this awesome eyelash curler for RM 5 only!! It curls really easily and doesn't pull my lashes out. Plus the refill rubbers for RM 3.50. Planning to get more~~

You might have heard of the auto-curler but the Babyliss one retails for RM 799 while this other brand is RM 299 only! Great for newbies like me who will just never get the hang of curling tongs =x

My turn!

Opted for straight-er hair and rainbow colours! Done with hair chalk which you can buy here for RM 38 only. Colour was quite pretty, especially the blue.

Looks even better on Yuh Jiun's hair!
