FREE Vaccination + All Expenses Paid Trip

I was recently made aware of Cervical Cancer, the 3rd most common cancer to occur to Malaysian women D= It is caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV) but good news is that..

It can be prevented

Through a simple HPV vaccination! Vaccination is believed to be able to reduce deaths by up to two-thirds. I did survey a bit and it usually costs over a thousand. Just for a simple shot =(

Tea Party in Paris

I was invited to have tea with the girls the other day at this lovely place - Angelic Tea & Scones House, Plaza Damas.

Thanks to our host, Ms Rosy!

Free manicure, hairdo and makeup for all the girls~

A light meal was served and this plate deceived everyone. What looks like a simple chicken pie and broccoli was in fact something that tastes so much more. The 'broccoli' was actually mushrooms cooked in Thai green curry sauce. OMG so so so so incredibly yummy! It was juicy and chewy, bursting with flavour. Next to it was a crispy pumpkin pie. It's actually a vegetarian place so no meat!

Wheee~~ More food

The triangular shaped one is like a crunchy pizza with capsicum. Everyone was talking about how they liked the mini croissants too. Scones were not too dry nor sweet, with a buttery taste. Overall, the food was great! You should absolutely try out the 'broccoli ;)

Photo with Jean from Caroline.

We also got to try out some L'Oreal products.

*sniff sniff*

Guess what were we doing downstairs??

Making flower headbands!

An artist was also present to draw caricatures.

Ayna looks so adorable with hers! xD

Macam family portrait ni..

Peplum jumpsuit from Hua Hin night market.. About 200-250 baht. Great quality too.

PeriPera Peri's Tint Water (Cherry Juice)

I've seen this brand in Sasa but the I got it online for half the price! I love tints because they're so long lasting compared to lipsticks or gloss. The shade I have here is Cherry Juice but I believe there are 5 colours including a pink and orange.

The texture is like water so it dries really quick. Be fast when you blend!

Prep lips with a good lip balm. Really really important..
- Moisturize lips because this lip tint is drying
- Use a sweetened balm like the Smurfette one to counter the bitterness of the tint
- With a base, the tint doesn't stick too fast so you can blend it better

Works well for cheeks too but just make sure you use it before powder foundation/blush.

Applied lightly, it's a slight flush of colour which gives you a sorta 'healthy look'. Unlike lipsticks where the colour just sits as a layer on top, tints seem to just glow from within. As the colour seeps inside, I don't have to worry about it transferring onto my clothes/cup or smudging.

Applying more will give you Ruby lips. The thing I like about this red is that it's so vibrant and doesn't make me look old ^_^

What do you think? Have you tried the other colours?

Size : 6.5 ml
Price : RM 15+
Bought from : Qoo10.com
Made in Korea

Pros : Long lasting, doesn't transfer, cheap, can be used for lips and cheek
Cons : Drying, tastes bitter, cannot be shifted after it's dry

My conclusion : Awesome product for such an affordable price tag! In retail shops here, it costs slightly over RM 30 but you can get good deals online.

Hui Lau Shan @ 1 Utama

You've probably heard of Hui Lau Shan by now.. They're famous for their mango desserts! Dropped by the branch in 1 Utama which is just at the escalator leading to TGV.

Being greedy me, I wanted to try the most number of desserts without over eating. So I ordered this '3 Courses Mix & Match', costing RM 12.90.

I believe these are mini portions of the actual ones you can order separately.

Mini Chocolate Crisp is like chocolate ice cream sandwich. Love the chocolatey flavour but you gonna eat it before it melts!

Mango Pancake, a fluffy pillow filled with cream and sweet mango chunks.

Mango Chewy Ball - This is tang yuen (glutinous rice balls) with lots of mango. I did enjoy the small tang yuen for their chewiness.

Mango Icy Combo RM 12.90

Perfect example of 'photos for illustration purposes only'.

Overall, food's alright but pretty pricey for what you get. Not so good until I would have it again but I don't hate it either. I enjoyed the company of the day though ^_^
