Fun Under the Sun with Clinique

I've only been to Sunway Lagoon once and I was really young. I remember my mum was upset with me because I was too scared to go on the ride so she had to take care of me while the rest went on it lol That unfortunately, is the ONLY thing I actually remember. Isn't it sad?

Thanks to the Clinique Beach Party, I got another chance to experience Sunway Lagoon and hopefully, bring back happy memories this time.

Phew.. Panda eyes were tamed that day. Wearing my still loved laced top from Ladies Fashion. Eye makeup was waterproof to endure the heat and water, Maybelline Hypersharp & gold Silkygirl eyeliner.

Look at the number of people already in the water! My friends were all eye-ing that guy on the right =_="

Suddenly someone grabbed my arm and it was my classmate, Sharon!

A booth with pretty promoter girls to apply Clinique sunblock with SPF50 on us! There were body creams, face creams and an interesting targeted protection stick. It's the new Clinique Sun with Solar Smart.

Spotted some of the other bloggers there having a makeover with Clinique products. Apparently so waterproof, it didn't budge even after entering the water!

The very inviting water.. If only I was actually dressed to go in xP

Crowd beginning to build up. It was hot so we were glad for the complimentary drinks.

Laura with magical waterproof makeup on.

Aaanndd vanity hits me lolz erased my exam tiredness and blemishes but they'll pop up in other people's pics pfft..

Thanks again to Clinique for having us!

P.S. To the Bieber fans who were running like gazelles being chased by a leopard and knocking into me as though I was a tuft of grass , you're really rude! Seriously. If you drop my camera, I'll be that leopard.

Ajisen Ramen, Sunway Pyramid

I have always walked past this place and seen many people inside. A friend recommended us to try the food there so we sat down and browsed through the variety of ramen available.

I'm not sure why.. Maybe I was too tired. I completely forgot to take down what we ordered =/ Just remember this was about RM 20. This was under the spicy section in the menu (I recall a warning lol).  Comes with several slices of cha-shu, seaweed, half an egg and lots of corn. Not forgetting, a mountain of chilli paste on top! After mixing everything, it's really quite spicy. If you're not used to eating spicy food, you should order something else or don't mix all the paste in.

And my bowl was about RM 10. I obviously ordered the non-spicy one! So happy to see all the vegetables. Seaweed, beansprouts, some kinda vege beneath and lots of corn!! There is also half an egg inside (braised? not sure) that was quite yummy since the taste went all the way in. The noodles were really bouncy and I enjoyed eating them together with the flavourful soup.

Btw, I think that piece of cha-shu DOES NOT BELONG THERE =_=" I remember ordering something without meat and based on the traces of chilli on it, I conclude that it's from my Bf's bowl.. =/

I made him buy that cap so that I can wear it that day but he ended up wearing it himself =(

Fashion Beauty Falsies 705

Item #2 in the giveaway parcel~ This is the first time I'm wearing longer falsies (usually I prefer them short and stubby).

These aren't 'branded' falsies but they're soft and come in a box of 6 pairs. I've seen them at the night market here as well.

Actually love how long falsies open my eyes in photos!

Sadly, only the longest strands are obvious on me o.O

It's more visible at a lower angle but it's definitely not my fav angle =/

Because I take stupid pictures when bored.

Now.. to convince my bf falsies don't look strange lol I found an online store that sells all sorts of pretty lashes!

** I won the product in a giveaway. However, this has not affected my thoughts on the product in any way.

Ikuzo Ramen SS2, Second Try

If you read my previous blog post, my excitement was dampened by the poor quality of the place. I was so disappointed, I left a comment on their Facebook page and surprisingly, they offered me a complimentary meal, promising that conditions have improved. Because I really wanted to like this place, I decided to give it a second chance and accepted her invitation.

Something about this picture is just so hilarious..

They've changed to a new menu that's much smaller which I think is better. Yay to no MSG! They've also improvised on the contents of the menu. I noticed they removed the spicy noodles.

I almost couldn't decide between the Hokkaido Ramen (corn!) and Tokyo Ramen (seaweed!) x_X That plate of handmade gyoza looked tempting too but I knew I wouldn't be able to finish my food.

Not only is the food here affordable, so are the drinks! I've been to places that charge RM 10 for Coca Cola which is absurd! On my previous visit I had blackcurrant soda and this time I had Hot Lemon Tea. Both are quite nice despite the price.

Photo of le bf taking a photo of me.

I honestly think even the food looks tastier and more appetizing this time @_@

The Hokkaido Ramen is what I would call 'happy food' because the combination of the colours is so pleasant. Noodles were no longer like overcooked Maggi but had that bounciness to it. Rest of it is good.

As I thanked Shea Leen from Ikuzo Ramen for lunch, I was handed this little guy.

He actually looks kinda sad and lonely haha! Reminds me of Dunbo which I adore.

Didn't have a fly problem this time but the staff were around to zap them. Guess it's hard to completely get rid of the flies with the nearby morning market.

GEO Xtra WTB35 Grey from Uniqso

Glad to have new lenses to play with, thanks to Uniqso!

I don't normally like grey or black lenses as they're a bit dull. Colourful lenses always intrigue me. However, I took a chance with these GEO Xtra WTB35 and didn't regret it. Even though it's a circle lens, the ring is not too thick and it's not exactly round on the inside.

From the picture provided, it seems to follow the design of a diamond. Actually, they are also known as the Diamond series.

Firstly, I have to say that their specially made packaging is so adorable!

The lenses are wrapped in bubble wrap then fit tightly into the box so they're safe.

They come in the usual glass vials. Wrong code on the vial! Ignore that..

Enlargement effect of these lenses are huge! **Eye redness not caused by contacts**

Close up! Gosh love how they make my eyes sparkle even though there's no colour! Eyeshadow is Elf Drama palette.

Not sure why this set of photos don't really look like me. Probably cos of the fringe.

Dyed the roots (RM 69), got a scalp treatment (RM 35) and cut my fringe at Storm. The fringe is not very satisfactory but love how my hair looks after blow drying.

GEO Xtra is also available in other colours like Blue, Brown & Pink which look like semi precious stones ^_^

Comfort wise, it's quite good and not too drying. They were softer than my usual lenses but that didn't affect much. From my experience, the longer you wear lenses, they become harder and less comfortable so this should stay good for a longer time? =/

This is priced at $21.90 but there's a promotion where  you get a bigger discount with purchase of more pairs. Also, they have a rewards program which includes points collection & free lenses.

Water content : 38%
Diameter : 15 mm
Price : $21.9

** Product was provided by Uniqso for review purposes. However, this has not affected my thoughts on the product in any way.
