Ikuzo Ramen SS2

Got to know about this place from a blog who gave it good reviews. In fact, a few bloggers (I assume invited for food review) gave positive feedback.

The place is furnished with wooden furniture (booth seats or table with stools). The moment we sat down, we immediately noticed one thing. Flies are in abundance! We spent half the time waving our arms about the table, trying to get rid of them.

Okay, maybe the food's just too good until even the flies love it. I loved their idea of healthy noodles. Oops btw it says high iron, protein, calcium, vitamin Bs & E and fiber. You can choose between the 4 types of noodle.

My Oiran Champon Ramen looked really yummy but it tasted really meh.. The noodle was like overcooked Maggi mee and the soup didn't really have much taste. Worst part? The crab meat was sour! It was probably spoiled =_=" We complained to them and they didn't even do anything. Wonder if they continued serving it..

Crab meat in the Tom Yum Ramen was the same. My friend's younger sister took one bite and spat it out.

Yakiniku Ramen was alright.. Looked way better in the menu though. Isn't that always the case lol

Overall, I'm pretty disappointed in this place. Will not return..

A Must Read, Especially for Women

After my post on taxis the other day, my Facebook was bombarded with the story of Chin Xin-Ci.

Read HERE. Basically, it's her account of how she got kidnapped at Curve on a Sunday at 5.22 pm. I liked Curve and always thought that it's quite safe. It's not even in the middle of the night! The story was indeed an eye opener and a warning to everyone who read it.

I realized how lucky I was to not be so naive or perhaps I could have shared her fate or even worse. Not sure if I would have the strength and courage to escape like her.

Elf Studio Blush (Peachy Keen)

I remember I got this for RM 10 only. Such a steal! If you're a Nars fan, you might think this looks like it.

The casing is really sturdy with it's own mirror.

The blusher itself isn't of the best quality but I can't complain since it's only 10 bucks!

It's a light peachy colour that although can be layered, can't get very strong.

There is a slight golden sheen/shimmer/whatever that makes my cheeks glow. However, if I apply too much, it'll look weird.

I like using this for a quick subtle glow on my cheeks. It turns slightly more pinkish on me and is very natural looking.

I used this in my Forest Fairy look. (meh.. the red in my hair has faded to brown)

Vassen Super Pinky Green

The vials are packed tightly in this small box so it's quite safe.

It's the first time I'm trying Vassen so I wasn't too sure what to expect. I am used to opening these vials and I'm aware that sometimes it doesn't open perfectly but I had difficulty opening both vials =/ The cap had a tendency to detach itself from the metal. Would have really sucked cos that's why I cut my finger the last time. Thankfully, the metal on this was much easier to break open.

The lens itself looked a very beautiful green that's opaque (yay!). The detail is fine and natural looking with a thin grey ring. It seemed to make my eyes sparkle in a way too.

Enlarging effect is great!

My 21st

Like oh noooo I'm 21 already and I have not achieved much in my life besides having this blog that I have no idea why you all are reading lolz It amazes me seeing some people who have their whole life planned out or just know what to do. So successful at such a young age. I follow @feeqsays on Twitter and he's constantly tweeting about business meetings, proposals (not the marriage kind, mind you), shoots etc and I'm here watching TV eating Honey Stars =/

Om Nom! Won from Window's fair in college. But my bf kidnapped it.

The wait is over! I'm not a hardcore player (in fact, I feel so nooby looking at how fast people level up wtf) but the game is quite fun.

Most manja dog in the world! (Doesn't every owner say that of their own dogs? lol)

This one comes with a story. When my grandpa was still alive, we used to have reunion dinners at this big restaurant but after he passed, dinners weren't the same anymore and soon the restaurant itself closed down. After some years, my uncle managed to find the head chef who was cooking at Pudu Plaza and got all of us down there for dinner. This is the specialty lobster dish (so awesome looking, the other tables turned around to take pics lmao). Details of the restaurant and my grandpa are scarce in my memory but I do remember this dish #nostalgic The shop is located in the basement, beside the snooker centre & arcade.

The papaya tree that I didn't even know existed in my garden until someone asked me about it. Shall look at my garden more.

Seriously thankful to everyone who made my birthday a good one =)

Shopping on a Budget : Ladies Fashion

I was never one who really spends on clothes. Discount, sale and budget were my favourite words. I don't remember when or how but I stumbled upon Kate's blogshop one day and have been going back to stare at her stock ever since.

My most recent purchase is this navy laced top which is absolute LOVE!

It's only RM 18 so I grabbed it without much thought xD

I had a tough time deciding which colour to get though.. Would have gotten 3 if it wasn't for that inner voice that told me to exercise self control =x This is GX10. I had my eye on Watermelon Red & Teal as well.

Not very clear but I'm wearing it here! Lolz I had a tube on in this pic but I can get away without one.
