Eek.. Totally procrastinated way too long for this lol

1. Asience Inner Rich Shampoo, Conditioner & Treatment
First, I'm going to talk about the shampoo which made my scalp sensitive and VERY itchy. There was a lot of build up and I got dandruff! I tried it again and again but it just seems that my hair does not like Asience. The conditioner and treatment weren't bad though.. I just wouldn't touch the shampoo ever again =_=" Or maybe use it to wash just the tips or my make up brushes.

2. Cyleina Triple Citrus Soap sample
IMO, nothing spectacular.. Don't think I'll repurchase as there are better choices.

3. Maybelline Magnum Waterproof Mascara (Brown)

I don't know what happened but this ran out really fast! Going back to the black shade.. Brown just doesn't really give me as much 'oomph'.

4. Garden of Eden Scar Serum
My fav product for removing scars.. Already repurchased and using the new bottle =D

5. Organic Aid Vitamin E Facial Foam
I wouldn't mind repurchasing this but I still have other cleansers to finish and curiosity will probably make me buy something else that I've never tried before xP

6. Kiehl's Line Reducing Eye Brightening Concentrate sample
This 5 ml sample lasted me forever! I squeeze a little out and warm it up between my fingers before patting it all around my eye. While I was using this, I did notice a slight improvement in the appearance of my fine lines and the area looked brighter & hydrated. Didn't cause milia but it didn't absorb completely and may feel slightly greasy.

7. Cyleina Rice Bran Soap
Love this! One of my favourite soaps from Bubblezshoppe so far.. Smells nice, lathers well and feels good on my skin ^_^ Definitely repurchasing!~ I use this on my face sometimes and *I think* it helped with my blemishes. It has small specks so you can use this soap for mild exfoliation as well.

8. Eversoft Whiten & Firm Facial Cleanser with Pomegranate
So so so drying... Totally dried out the skin on my face and doesn't work to whiten. Not even brighten! I ended up using it on my body but I think it dried out the skin on my body as well =/

9. REN Micro Polish Cleanser sample
A gentle polish that smells of oranges (love!) and lathers well. It isn't drying and leaves my skin slightly brightened. Worth trying out if your skin can't take harsh exfoliating.

10. Maybelline Pulse Perfection Mascara
Love everything except that it smudges.. And the price.

11. Solone Magic Waterproof Eyepencil (Black & Gold)
I am actually very interested in repurchasing the Black & Gold one (not the purple) but it seems I still have many eyeliners to finish T_T

12. Eversoft Deep Pore Facial Scrub with Apricot
This is drying too and I also ended up using it on my body as a scrub. Safe to say I won't be purchasing any facial washes from this brand again.

[Food] Super Kitchen Chilli Pan Mee @ SS2

I'm a fan of normal soup pan mee but I also love chilli pan mee! My favourite one is from Super Kitchen Chilli Pan Mee. They have a number of branches now but I always patron the one in SS2. The shop is almost always full during lunch and dinner time. Plenty of parking in the area but you may have difficulty finding a spot during lunch time.

I've been here many many times but each time I order their Chilli Pan Mee because it's just THAT good.

Each bowl is filled with fat pan mee noodles, minced meat, fried anchovies and an egg with a runny yolk. The noodles are just perfect with a good bite to them and never soggy. If the egg yolk is insufficient, you can add some soup to make it less dry. The bowl of egg drop potato leaves vegetable soup comes free with the noodles. If you want more greens, you can pay RM 1 for extra vegetables. Usually one bowl is just right for me. It looks kinda small but do not underestimate it! The noodles are really solid and filling.

Each table is provided with a big bowl of dried chilli flakes. The noodle by itself is already very flavourful but the chilli will add that oomph to it. I usually take one spoonful but this is according to your preference. Remember to continually mix your noodles as the ingredients tend to fall to the bottom. I love eating all the anchovies at the end as they remain crunchy even though I add soup into my bowl.

Even with the additional extra vegetables in my soup, it’s not sufficient for a vege lover like me so I add on another bowl of vege soup with fu chuk and pork balls (yum!), also with added RM 1 vegetables. Sometimes when I ask for extra vege, they even give me another bowl of soup. The taste of their soup is superb while the meatballs and fu chuk are also very fragrant.

You can order this snack to share too. Thin slices of heavily marinated meat. I love the strong flavour and slightly crispy crust. They can be a bit salty so you may choose to eat them with your noodles but I don’t mind having them just like that.

Pop Art Take 2

So.. I was one of the beauty bloggers in the October issue of Seventeen magazine. Each of us were given different make up looks. Since I was the youngest, they chose a bright and vibrant look for me.

I'm not very happy with the photo since I look sooo bad T_T~ *emo* Bright colours without eyeliner just spells disaster for me *super emo* Plus they made me smile like that to show my dimples (so getting braces one day). I never smile like that in photos *extremely emo* Annnddd I made the mistake of wearing green lenses so I had to remove them and didn't bring my grey ones *emo-ness oozing out of every pore*

So.. To make myself feel better, I redid the look and camwhored =_=" Pics from my Galaxy S2. First one using primary camera, next 2 using secondary camera. Obviously the main camera looks better but I can't see how the picture looks like.

Basically, it's yellow on top and blue below with mascara and no eyeliner. Light pink/peachy blusher & pinkish nude lips.

Love my lashes here!

*still emo-ing* Was so emo about this that Andrew rushed back to give me hugs lolol

The eyeshadow base I used is skin colour but it would have been more vibrant if I used a base which is the same colour as the eyeshadow or a white base (NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk works great here).

Now.. If you're not daring enough to try this look, you can tone it down by adding brown into the crease. It makes the look much more wearable. I've changed to my Stage lipstick here.

Personally, I think darker eyes suit me better =_=" Converted it to a night look by adding black/dark grey from my Elf Duo Eyeshadow (Licorice) and applied eyeliner. The blue on the lower lash line actually looks good with dark eyeshadow.

*sigh..* Okay, I feel much better now lol

Hada Labo Whitening Face Wash

After liking Hada Labo's moisturizing facial wash, I decided to try their whitening one (actually bought this some time ago =_=").

How does it work to whiten your skin?

Apart from whitening your skin, it also functions to hydrate it. It's free of artificial fragrances and honestly, I think it smells like smoked salmon or something lol Not too bad.. Still better than choking in perfume.

This is the amount of foam I get from just a small pea size + water ^_^ The soft foam goes smoothly on my skin and it feels so nice. I always try to get fine foam with my facial wash as I learnt during the Aqualabel workshop that the tiny foam is more effective in cleaning your pores (make sense cos our pores are so small, only tiny foam particles can enter it). There's actually a way to get better foam but I'll leave that for another post.

After washing, I do realize that my skin is temporarily brightened but I'm not sure if there's any long term effect.

My conclusion : Worth purchasing but I prefer the Moisturizing FW since it's more moisturizing than this.

Too Faced Lipstick (Totally Nude)

I love the person who designed this.. x_X Shiny pink casing.. With a diamond on top too!

So so so pretty.. All the girls will look at you in envy when you whip this out and swipe it across your lips.

As the name suggests, this is a nude lippie. It appears kinda as a peachy brown on my lips. Quite moisturizing and goes on smoothly ^_^

Mexican Chicken @ Restoran Kuan Yew

Andrew's the one who introduced me to this place (apparently quite popular, even my brother knows it). It's a western food stall (I think it's called Michael's according to Google) inside Restoran Kuan Yew, SS3. It's a corner shop.

I followed his recommendation and have no regrets! The sauce on their Mexican Chicken is amazing x_x It comes with coleslaw, fries and cucumbers. You can add on egg (RM 1), sausage and other stuff. However, the 2nd time I had this, it didn't taste as good.. Still yummy though. I wouldn't mind eating this again.

Dad ordered the steak and he wasn't very impressed since it was dry & over cooked (he ordered well done). I would definitely go for the mexican chicken over this.

They also serve other dishes like fish and chicken chop but I have not tried those..

My parents think the food at the Indian stall are nice too but I didn't try it since the dish I had was very filling x_X

I think you should try this if you are a fan of western food! =)

Photoshop : How to Remove Stray Hair from Faces

Ever had a nice photo taken.. Only to have your hair ruin the shot?

I HAVE!! Zzz...

No choice but to remove the strand of stupid hair or else it's so distracting *perfectionist*

*stares at lashes* How come my lashes don't look like that anymore? And I can't apply eyeshadow nicely now after not having done so for so long.. Argh!

And with a wave of a magic wand.. (it's Spot Healing Brush Tool actually, not the Magic Wand lol) Poof! Stupid hair gone..! Hand itchy so I did my brows too =_=" Got rid of strays and added hair on bald spots xD One part of my eyelash even elongated lololol

It's all done with one tool only.. ^_^ Perfect for Photoshop noobs like me lol Sorry if I did anything wrong or if there's an easier method.. I'm not really pro at this o_O Just enough to get simple things done =/

I use a smaller brush size for accuracy (but bigger if I'm lazy =_=). Drag it along the hair or dot (see which has better results) and the hair magically disappears~ I did the same thing on the bald spots. I just dotted where I want more hair and it samples the surrounding (where there's hair) and adds hair to the spot lol

I have to press undo a few times (experiment) with this tool though as it sometimes gives you weird patches of extra hair or something hahaha.. It's just a program anyway..

Oh.. Did you know Photoshop is also an excellent wrinkle remover which happens to also decrease dark undereye circles? I used the same tool but this time with 25% hardness instead of 100% used for removing hair. Somehow it looks more natural for skin o_O

How I wish my undereye is that smooth in real life.. =/ Just FYI, I do not edit my photos this way lol I just remove the stray hair on rare occasions.

Too Faced Walk of Shame

Ahh.. I've always loved Too Faced packaging.. So pretty x.x

On the mirror, it's written 'Why be pretty when you can be gorgeous?' xP

The two eyeshadows are quite shimmery so I don't use them often. Only when I want to really brighten up my eyes. Sun Bunny Light is a bronzer but it's rather orange for me so I use it lightly on the sides of my nose and sometimes on my cheeks (not very noticeable).

See how shimmery it is? It's nice to use since it's smooth and pigmented.

Sorry the pic is kinda washed out. The colour itself is not very obvious on the eyes but the shimmer is noticeable. I tried using Silk Teddy as a highlighter but it didn't work due to it being too shimmery.

Purple Phone Baju

Kinda regret buying the black casing for my phone cos.. I saw this dam pretty purple one at the night market!! Love the bright colour compared to the original black one. Plus.. This was only RM20+ while the black one from the shop was RM 80 =/

I like it so much, I painted my nails purple to match it xD Too bad it's not the exact same purple though.. I also reshaped my nails as I want them to be more squarish (like my ring finger) but somehow it just refuses to be square =/ Shall work on that..

Now on the hunt for a cheap pink jelly case! xP While browsing I found these~~~ Not really something I would buy but I like the pink colour lol

Omg this Mercury Jelly Case is exactly like the one I bought from the night market and the Sweet Pink is sooo nice! I just don't understand why the corner is exposed though.. I feel like I will knock my phone onto something and dent it =/ Is it for easier removal?
